@mirage12ful Oh, it's simple. Movie Maker is fairly easy to use. I recorded the clips with something called Cam Studio, I downloaded the song, and I put the song and the clips, into Movie Maker, then I went on to the editing! It takes a while sometimes, but it's very fun. I recommend it.

@mirage12ful Just go to any search engine (Google, Yahoo, etc.) and look it up. What I normally do these days, is I get an mp3 file download. I don't want to state the obvious, but what I normally type in, is the name of the song I want, then "mp3 download". Example: If I wanted to download the song Apologize, then I would type in "Apologize mp3 download" but hey, that's just MY way of searching. Anyway, just look for a site that works for you from there. If one doesn't work, try another. Easy!

@mirage12ful It's very simple. I haven't used Movie Maker in a while, but I'm pretty sure I remember how to do the effects. VERY simple. Just right-click on the clip while it's in the timeline, and it should be in there. There should be things like "Fade to white" or "fade to black". There might be more effects in the side-bar of Movie Maker, but I don't know.

You are right when Mello quotes that though, Near is 12 in the first appearance, and Mello is 14, almost 15.

Using math, that means Near was 13 and Mello was 14 when L died.

Light died in January '10.

Using math, that means Near was 18 and Mello--if he was still alive--20 when Light died.

I looked at episode 8 and found the date, which said 2006. The episode was first aired in 2006 so that's probably why they made it a 2006 (The script they had probably didn't have the year specified so they did they're own thing) in anycase, it still doesn't matter. L still dies a year later. So my previous point still holds truth: that Mello and Near were adults by the end of the Kira case. (and L is dead, too)
