It is 150 cubic meters. You could literally drive a full size school bus into it and close the chamber door.

This is incredible stuff. How close are NASA and other agencies too adapting this technology?

NASA is a couple of years away from using it. They hope to space test the VASIMR by attaching it to the International Space Station.
When we will be seeing the VASIMR power a space tug I do not know.
