I guarantee young kids who are growing up with "Modern Warfare 2" are not getting the same level of imagination as in some of the older games. Nope. My sister has a Vista and I'm able to play it just fine. I just have to use a port like zDOOM or something to make it work better than DOSbox. PM me and I can give you some more useful information. ^^

It depends on what version. If you're playing Doom95, you'll have to download a certain .dll file. If it's ZDoom, GZDoom, Skulltag, or any of those types, it should run fine. I suggest searching for troubleshooting or FAQ's on whatever version you're running.

why are the cyber demons and spider masterminds going down with just a few BFG hits.... when i play the cyber demons take more than just 1-2 and the spider masterminds take more than 2-3

Spidermasterminds will fall with 2 well aimed bfg shots, in theory cyber demons can fall in 2 bfg shots as well, but that requires perfect aim, Cybers will typically drop in 3-5 bfg shots.

i love it when the monsters fight eachother. Best time is in doom 2 in the level called tricks and traps, there's a cyberdemon in a room full of barons who all have their backs to you, poke your head in n quickly dive back out, only the cyberdemon will of seen you so he starts firing rockets and the barons get hit so they will kill him then there's only a couple of weak barons left to kill lol

That's a very common problem on Windows XP. You should downloading dosbox or you could use a source port. There is a wide variety of different ports. If you want the original DOOM experience with some bugfixes I would recommend you the Chocolate Doom. Just Google it and you'll find it in no time. There is also a large list of Doom source ports on Wikipedia.

What version of Ultimate DOOM is this? I got mine in the DOOM collection thing. After I beat Map8 of any episode, it only shows dialogue, it doesn't show like 100% kills and stuff like that. Also, after I beat every level of Thy Flesh Consumed, it shows Episode 1's map on the intermission screen. Sweet run, by the way.

i believe this is the retail release of the Ultimate Doom (zonekid, correct me if i'm wrong), and he's running it with the PrBoom sourceport, which is why the hud numbers are different colors and he got the kills/items/secret screen after eXm8 levels. as for the episode 1 map thing, you are probably running it through the doom95 port, which had a bug on the intermission screen that displayed the map and level names from episode one.
