  • i dont get why on almost every vid on youtube people talk shit. dude this is a good vid. thank you for posting.

  • @animebsd i agree, i think that the people who "live" on you-tube and make negative comments....simply have no life!

  • The honda, kipor 3000 inverter type are nice but very very expensive and limited as to what they will power. You can not run your house on them. I run the Honda's and Kipors at our camp but have a big noisier one to run the house beacuse i need the power. I would say afer 5 years of steady use the Honda and Kipor have performed equally well. My big one which we have had for over 12 years is generac 7000xl with idle control and clean wave power. It has never let me down or burnt anything out.

  • what the hell was the asshole sayin to begin with, couldnt understand a word he was sayin dumbass quit makin stupid videos

  • need to buy a portable for my truck. just need to run a small bedroom air conditioner that is rated at 550 watts. what is the noise level diff between diesel and gas? small 3000 watt gas $250 vs a 3000 watt diesel at $700. its gonna be in between my trailer and cab and in between other trucks so would like it as quite as possible. thanks

  • @wov44 ive been working on generators for about a few months now, we do gas conversions and honestly, my point of view i dont really notice the difference between gas and diesel, just the smell lol, gas it a lot cheaper to run and for quietness, ive worked on honda eu20's, they're quiet but the price is pretty high

  • @wov44 ~~~ A friend of mine has a little Honda. I think it is called an "EU3000". It is extremely quiet. I would want one of those if I wanted quiet to run anything connected to your truck while you were in it. I also think it was an inverter type, which I understand is a better setup.

  • dudes, just use your generator, why the thought of even playing with water and salt ? can we say ' red neck'....

  • cobol~ Read the title of the video, and you will have your answer.

  • the choke was on the entire time on the yellow one

  • jumpa~ no it wasn't. It just has a poor governor setup

  • Has anybody check to see how the Boliy Generator (3600 Watt) at a little over $1,000 compares with these gennys?

  • Yellow one seams to have Governor issues...

  • great job shutting it down from WIDE open full load.how long do you expect them to last?

  • @robby844 most only run at full on... and same with lawnmowers... once the loads off theres no power stored and you cut the spark off not the fuel and the oil flows using a slinger attatched to the camshaft you should really learn more before calling people stupid....

  • @kiefer1234566767 wow you are a retard.if it runs wide open all the time then there is something obviously wrong with the heap of shit.mine idle down to half speed at no load and then it has a switch to completely idle down....but then again i buy the best.

  • @robby844 alot of hondas used to they just use governor wieghts to control if they need more power

it costs less to have it run at 60 htz all the time at same rpm then to use some sort of control system

apperently the heavy duty mechanic who has seen about a million generators have just a full on is retarted... fuckin goof

  • @kiefer1234566767 wow you actually think that? apparently you have never worked on one that has run wide open and been shut down from wide open in your life.you claim you have but then your words and actions prove you wrong.by what your dumb simple narrow minded ass is saying is that when you wire the throttle all the way on you get better fuel economy? how retarded could a person be? when you have it in eco mode it idles down to half idle and when you need the power it revs up.

  • @kiefer1234566767 in turn saving fuel.but what you dont realize is that you are WRONG.all the hondas i work on and buy have magnetic throttles.not the pissy ass fake genset throttles.so you need to grow up and learn your shit before you pull your pants down to talk.

  • @robby844 LOL......i b thinkin u is la retard

  • @wov44 for telling the truth or because you spell like a nigger?

  • robby~ there is no throttle. The sonofabitch runs wide fuckin open as soon as it starts. They don't idle down, they run WFO. I don't expect it to last. I demolished the fuckin thing last summer. What I couldn't tear up dragging it behind the truck, I smashed with a sledgehammer. Now, you got any more questions?

  • @osut688 never seen one with out an idle switch in my life

  • Comment removed

  • @excuzzzeme are you on drugs?

  • @osut688 Ha ha ha. Awesome response. Many people think they know what they are talking about but they don't. Some don't even have a generator to stand behind their comments. They are having a discount sale here where I live on the Honda EU3000 SI generators. I may buy one. They run super quiet and with the inverter the power is really clean that you can power computers with it.

  • @osut688 lol

  • I have one of the yellow ones mine is a champion brand 3500 watt and it works good.We all can only buy what we can afford and the cheapo was all i could afford.I dont think mine is bad for 399.00

  • Yes, these are cheap, I had to replace the voltage regulator in one of mine recently. Customer service with "Wildfire Motors" is sketchy at best and I was relieved to actually get ahold of someone. Usually you are in electronic hell and talk to recorders and not people. Took the generator housing all apart and also removed the cover for all the electrical connections on the control panel and checked a few things in there and determined it was the voltage regulator.

  • An honest test includes Hertz too. Looks like you have a two-pole generator rated at 3600 RPM. Generator needs to deliver rated watts at rated RPM at rated voltage. Your load bank is original-good job. Look at my video, Portable Generator Bad News, and see what $989 delivers. Great job on video, thanks.

  • The water would eventually boil. That power is turning into heat.... Same as using a dummy load for a high power radio transmitter. You can make a dummy load to test a generator too. Use oil and a fan to keep it cool.....

  • It is just water with a little salt stirred in. I've beem told that I must've had too much salt stirred in due to the fact that as soon as I set the electrode in the water the generator bogged down- to much conductivity.

  • interesting test. what's in the bucket? water and ???
