  • ah man thanks for the video. just reminded me of great days. when wow used to be awesome and fun. it required skill and players knowledge.

these days blizz made it idiot proof.

just a question. i hope u answer it. as far as i remember only warriors could mt and pallys ot. again as far as i remember only warriors used to be uncrushable. how is your pally tanking this??

  • Paladins were very much capable of main tanking (I've got other videos from TBC showing me tanking much more difficult bosses), Paladins were able to be uncrushable in TBC by having 102.4% miss/dodge/parry/block with Holy Shield up.

Paladins were somewhat less crushable than warriors really, since the Warrior's 2 blocks in 5 seconds could be consumed by certain bosses, Holy Shield had 8 charges every 10 seconds, twice as much.

Not very relevant now though, bosses can't crush anymore...

  • that was a great run, and you didn't wiped so...

    ...verry good job.

    well done!

  • Thanks salamandra please give me some tips on how much DEF and HP and mana u should have for tanking KZ my pally is level 70 now...I plan on tanking becuase i just cant heal so please give me tips

  • It's necessary to have 490 defense, it's recommended to have at least 102.4% miss/dodge/parry/block (necessary for NB/Prince), and you should have at least 12k hp unbuffed.

  • You have the best pally vids(next to hobbs). TYVM for the tank stats. Is that all unbuffed?

  • 490 defense and uncrushability is only necessary while buffed, although it's best to have it unbuffed anyway.

  • And what is the defense for uncrushable?(number wise)

  • You don't get to uncrushability by defense (although it does help), you get uncrushable by having 102.4% miss/dodge/parry/block while under the effect of Holy Shield. The extra 2.4% comes from the effect that fighting an enemy that's 3 levels higher than you has on the combat table.

  • agaain a great vid salamandra (like always tanking with your paladin) he's so great good vid and music 5/5
