  • Oops, that is JIMMY Harrison!

  • No one could touch Teagarden, except maybe Jommy Harrison of the Fletcher Henderson orchestra. They were the first two jazz trombone players to escape the tyranny and dead end of tailgate playjng. The showed the trombone could be a melody instrument. Great music. Thanks for posting!

  • yes it is benny and joe venuti on violin jack and his brother charlie teagarden eddie lang one of my favorites

  • I believe it is Benny Gooman

  • "the masters" doesn't belong to golf, it belongs right here!!!

  • sensational!!!!!!!!! I love jazz

  • The clarinet sounds familiar.

  • @ishouldntbeyoutubing You think it sounds like Benny Goodman?

  • @Morahman7vnNo2 Yes. This band really lived up to its name: The Venuti-Lang All Stars.

  • Great stuff. This is what I have always wanted to hear. Music BEFORE there was tape. Someone will invent a better way to improve these with computer modeling. But they really dont need improving just the ears need readjusting to the format of wire/way. By the way what does your name mean? Great stuff. Any chance you can tell me what music they used for the Bobby Jones movie?

  • @analyzingfunny

My handle," Wireman" is from the old CB days. 525 was my tech number when I was working.
