  • awesome music man, keep it up

  • Sounds like whales.

  • Man you guys make awesome stuff.

  • How much do you $pend on something like this?

  • how muh does it cost?

  • What a miserable instrument. It sounds like it wants to die.

  • thats what makes the scary music in movies

  • I've been trying to find out what this instrument was called for years since the first time I saw it used by this experimental band!! :D

  • I want one of those. Where can I buy one?

  • it sounds just like a whale song... amazing

  • is it just a pot, pipe, and metal rods?

  • a little like listening to ost from a ghost movie...

  • Ewww.. D;

  • Wow did you make that?

  • Hey, do you know what diameter this waterphone is?

  • Height 16

    Diameter 8

  • My mom almost bought me one of these from Lark for X-mas last year, but I got a glockenspiel instead...I'm still interested in an oceanharp though. Is it possible to play anything truly melodic on them, as opposed to making sound effects?

  • nope

  • it's probably possible, you'd just have to work very hard at it.

  • of course

  • I'm seriously considering to get one when i can afford it, right now it's complicated as i'm saving arleady for a hammered dulcimer and i have my pending upcoming album, we want to record some parts with orchestra and in fact we´re desperately looking for sponsorships to do so... but it's one of the first things on my wish list, been in love with waterphone since Poltergeist and into the labyrinth soundtrack... it's so otherwordly, would love to see some of the lower registers.

  • @yidneth cool story bro

  • it's high pitched compared to the waterphone isn't it, but way more affordable... ahh I wish I could grab one though

  • I may have played on the higher tines a lot - there are lower pitches but I wanted a full range of the tones available. Also a cello bow may help.

  • A sample of some of the sounds possible on the ocean harp. No electronics, just the actual sound captured on a video cam mike!
