I agree with you. I believe Dr. Fletcher should be given credit for the discovery of Queen nefertiti. The mummy in question had a "double pierced" left ear which is what she was known to have. Also, the mummy was buried with the mother of Akenakin.....forgive the spelling... Nefertiti's husband. The mummy's head was shaved AND her right arm which had been maliciously broken off appeared to be clutching a staff. Another trade mark of a Queen. Actually Egypt adjoins Libya to the West, Israel to the East and the Mediterranean to the North. The Mediterranean Se washes the Nile Delta where most Egyptians live a stone throw from Crete, Cyprus, Syria etc. You can walk from Israel into Egypt. I agree with you. I believe Dr. Fletcher should be given credit for the discovery of Queen nefertiti. The mummy in question had a "double pierced" left ear which is what she was known to have. Also, the mummy was buried with the mother of Akenakin.....forgive the spelling... Nefertiti's husband. The mummy's head was shaved AND her right arm which had been maliciously broken off appeared to be clutching a staff. Another trade mark of a Queen.
