Yes it did!! In fact, not long ago when my mom was in the hospital, I asked what was in her IV, she said, "Just normal saline." I said, "You mean, it's not 'D5W & lactated Ringer's?' " Dad laughed - he knew EXACTLY what I meant - because we had spent many a weekday afternoon watching this show together. And, it always seemed that "D5W & lactated Ringer's" was their most popular IV.
