  • F--k F--k F--k You! Is that what I hear in the background starting at 0:23 ???

  • They were part of the BARC program (Beagle Ariel Regoc Company) a highly

trained observer contingent that was later outfitted with weapons when it was

discovered that their ability to sniff out the enemy was equaled to their marks

    manship.

  • much enemies -much honour......................

  • There actually have been recently declassified reports and death bed confessions

of Beagles being trained for AND flying Sopwith Camels in WW1!

  • Its not so much our pride that hurts, its all that Hollywood crap we have to put up with.

Thats why you screw up so much even though you have the biggest arsenal, your 'history' is Hollywood and its bogus. We are also smarting about that idiot Tony Bliar getting lots of good people killed just to stick his nose up George W's arse. He's still at it. Middle East peace envoy? What a joke!

    Very fond of (pre-Colombian) America!

  • Nobody is mentioning the Sopwith Camel that Snoopy flew ...

  • Sequel to snoopy's xmas!

  • seems funny you like to run your mouth about americans.even after we bailed your asses out of both world wars!!!

  • lol....@ Ordie....I agree.....Snoopy created by Charles Shultz, was an American cartOonist........which makes SnOopy as American as apple pie & basebaLL.....just go watch "FLyboys" and be done with all this......Lifts my rootbeer to ya....cheers

  • @MissSusieQue1

    Smurfs are from Belgium :p

  • the German plane was called a FOKKER....so when you shot down the German plane i guess you could say..''hey Fritz, you FOKKED UP''

  • For historical accuracy I shot him down, he was annoying the hell out of me.

  • @JackBootLip Go ahead, attempt to use your rifle against satellites, automated weapons, stealth technology, and no soldiers to stop the brass from committing immoral acts of war. Pop that pea-shooter at a mechanized weapon that has no one inside to judge you friend or foe. You could be determined hostile 12,000 miles away by some bored radio-controlled drone operator who is going to go home and argue with his nag....and you, and your big weapon, won't see it coming.

    Not a fair fight, eh?

  • @capie44 Scary hunh? That, within decades, the congress et.al can wage global war that can kill billions without leaving the D.C. area. D.C. will put a new twist to its reputation as "the murder capitol of the World."

  • @JackBootLip

Gut gesagt. Ich stimme völlig zu. Wenn Sie mögen, werde ich eine Pistole an ihnen ebenso anspitzen.

Well said, and I agree totally. I will help point a gun at them as well.

  • My brother loves this video he makes me play it every lunchtime :D

  • There was an African-American pilot who fought in World War I. There is a bust dedicated to him at Air and Space Museum in Washington. I forgot the man's name.

  • Snoopy was from the future to the rad baron. Damn right he was scared.

  • TOO much stupid fighting on this video! Good lord let it go kiddies!! IT'S A VIDEO FOR YOUR 'ENJOYMENT' NOT OFF HISTORY CHANNEL FOR YOUR EDUCATION CHILDREN!!!!!!!!!!

  • Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!! Really, no one wants to hear the fighting and arguing which has nothing to do with watching the video people.. geez! Is this kindergarten or YouTube where you 'watch' videos and 'enjoy' them not sit there and complain complain complain like old unhappy maids! grrrrrrrr

  • If the red baron is remembered at a special time, it is around Christmas because of snoopys Christmas.

  • Just reading some of these quotes , you all should be ashamed..first not Billy Bishop, but Roy Brown, second, he took one burst and Richthofen continued to fly, the angle of the wound that killed Richthofen came from the ground. As for the statement made before about the British being beaten twice by the US, please check your history, the English were beating the US in 1812 and America begged for peace. Please this is just a fun song, but if you insist in adding history, for god sake be right

  • @ToulaNJ I AGREE!! HOW DO WE PUNISH THESE SILLY IMMATURE CHILDREN WHEN EVEN THE PERSON THAT UPLOADED THE FREAKING VIDEO IS FIGHTING RIGHT ALONG WITH THEM?!

  • 67nairb. Snoopy isn't a Canadian you could argue he is just protraying the Canadian Billy Bishop who is creditied with taken out the REd Baron. Others have disputed it was Aussie ground forces but that has never been proven. for the case of the song or actually the series/story of 5 songs to go with it, Snoopy is really anybody who fought the Red Baron and earned his respect. The final song as we all hear at Christmas....Snooopy Lost. hence he really ISN'T Billy Bishop

  • it is well known that the Brits seem to have difficulty with both spelling and pronounciation.

  • What's he saying in the beginning? Can somebody translate?

  • @TheBookWorm1718 Attack! We are now singing together about the history of the pig-faced dog and the lovely red Baron.

  • @Kisho7878 LOL that is SO funny! Ha ha ha!

  • @TheBookWorm1718 Yep haha, that's what they say in the beginning

  • love this song

  • Enjoyed the video to me it is funny!

  • It doesn't matter who built the plane, in those days, the pilot made all the difference...

  • Awesome.

  • Love the rhymes!

  • Would you be surprised to know The Royal Guardsmen are from Florida? :P

    Anyway LOVE this song.

  • The Red Barron wasn't bad. HE wanted to DESTROY PLANES! NOT TO KILL PEOPLE!

  • @coin409 Actually, Von Ricthofen taught that when attacking two-seater aircraft, you kill the gunner first! So how does that tie in with your idea?

  • @Factnotfictionpeople Unless you wanted to get shot full of holes in a stern attack, it was a good idea to kill the gunner first! That's just common sense. But you are right; as with most of the WWI pilots, there were bullet holes in the bodies of most of the Baron's victims--not as much from a personal desire to kill, but due to the fact that these planes weren't armored and had open cockpits...

  • @a12a1d2a1 Actually they were Australians.Austria-Hungary was allied to Germany.

  • The lunacy of war.

  • @a12a1d2a1: Given that the "red baron" Manfred Von Richthofen was fighting against British, Canadian, and Australian pilots and ground forces on the Western Front, how did Austria come into it? I think there is still some question as to whether Canadian Captain Arthur "Roy" Brown or unidentified groundfire did the Red Baron in

  • @NickB1967

Baron von Richtofen was shot down by Australian ground forces.

  • hahaha dude! my history showed us this vid in class today! haha it fricken rocks! lol

  • The voice in the beginning of the song sounds like Bill Cosby!

  • Check Out My Piano Rendition of Snoopy vs. Red Baron!

  • Yes the RED BARON was a real person, He flew a triplane during WWI.

  • yeah go MvR!

  • Snoopy was trained by Brig. Gen. Billly Mitchell himself and commended by Pershing :)

  • awesome video!!!!

  • For those that wonder what that voice is at :25 I believe he's sayine Ein, Zwei, Drei, Vier, which would make sense since soon after we hear a voice say one, two, three, four...but I could be wrong

  • nice vid i loved the pics of the red baron and his plane....only thing i'd like to know if it was accuray is the kills it said he had?.....hhhmm i'll have to look it up anyway thanks for posting

  • i know the answer now lol

  • Good thing Snoopy didnt go against Erich Hartmann (352 kills), or hed be in real trouble...

    GO SNOOP!

  • Canadians that flew in world war one were in British air planes

  • "Airplane" is "One" word!

So then by your standards, it should be a British Flag! Americans also flew with British & French squadrons before the USA entered the war. Americans went to Canada and entered service there so they could fly as Canadians in the war.

Not sure what your seeming problem is with Americans, but you can go somewhere else and play that card! Once again, this is just a funny song done by a British Group! Stop Nitpicking or be banned!

  • @Ordie155 "Airplane" is "One" word!

And an abomination! The correct title is 'Aeroplane'

  • @Factnotfictionpeople Oh You Brits And Your Pride!!

After kicking the Brits out of "Our" country twice we have spent much time bastardizing the Queens English, so it aint no big deal! LOLOLOL

  • @Ordie155 I've got news for you. If you are American and are white you are British. The war of Independence was not a war between Americans and the British, it was a civil between two British factions. Get out of that if you can...

  • @winstonchurchill95 Funny I'm American and White and I'm not British, if anything I'm German. I'm sorry but the percentage of Americans today do not have british backgrounds if you wish to make that statement then you'd say "If you are American and are white you are German(15.2%), Irish(10.8%) or British(8.8%)" I think that gets you out of it

  • @winstonchurchill95 you know that white people didnt start in the british Isles right? by your rationall then all british are french and all french are italian and all italians are greek and all greeks are turks and all turks are syrians and all syrians are palistinians and all palistinians are egyptians and all egyptians are sudanies and all sudanees are Congoes(is that what you call people from congo i dont know?) just saying

  • @Ordie155 'Your' country? LOL yes, if you ignore The Apache, Cheyenne, Sioux, etc, etc - then, yes I suppose it is your country....................

  • @Factnotfictionpeople we took it from them through strength of arms so it is ours, if one day they manage to take it back then it will be theirs again

  • @wild50gunner So, when we are kicked out of Afghanistan thats it - its theirs? :-)

  • @Factnotfictionpeople yes, to the victor goes the spoils

  • @Factnotfictionpeople shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!! Really, no one wants to hear it!

  • Comment removed

  • @Ordie155 um, now do you ban some of these children anyway?????? Let me know!

  • @Ordie155 The Royal Guradsmen (group) were/are American!i

  • @gortca Not quite true, many flew French planes. Billy Bishop, Canada's highest scoring Ace flew Nieuports.

  • Funny how they showed the United States flag, when actually Snoopy (Billy Bishop) was Canadian

  • This was a HUMOROUS Song! That is all!

I do not understand people who think it is some sort of History Channel Biography that they have to check for accuracy!

BTW for those people who do think that way,

We also know there were no Beagles piloting Sopwith Camels in WWI!

It is a SONG! Not Historical Accuracy!

  • @Ordie155

It certianly is a humorous song and not a historical accuracy. Thanks for putting it up.

If Gortca IS concerned about historical accuracy why are they bringing up Billy Bishop?

  • @gortca How is Snoopy Canadian?

  • @67nairb because he is the character playing Charles Brown the Canadian who "shot down" Richthofen. check your history mate.

  • @h1dan243 yeah but new evidence shows that the good baron was shot from the ground.

  • @bad74maverick at an angle to the quadrant of the quadrupulous to the tank and the troops catycorner to the trees by the field.... hmmmm Love the video not the comments below it :S

  • @jamzusa LOL I was just making fun of some of the posts because they sounded like they wanted to argue more than enjoying the song.

  • @h1dan243 Actually there is some controversey as to who shot down the Red Baron. Some say it was Australian antiaircraft gunners.

  • @gortca Billy Bishop did not even fight in the battle that killed the Red Baron, and it's a song, and it wasn't even likly a canadian!

  • @vivecanada1 actually, billy bishop, was in the air.but the bullet that brought down the baron,by recreation was fired by a aussie rifler.burst's all bubbles, but look up history channel,it was a land fired shot that took my.....took the red baron down.

  • BAIL OUT SNOOPY!!!BAIL OUT!!!

  • Check out my piano rendition of Snoopy vs. the Red Baron!!!

  • the battles were fought over the skys of france and not germany.

  • france doesn't ryhme with century

  • what the hell did u just say man i lost u there

  • As I understand things, Graf Richtofen was under fire from several directions at once on his last flight, sandwiched betwixt two Camels of a British squadron and simultaneously taking bullets from British machine-gunners on the ground. Who felled the Red Baron has never been conclusively determined.

  • ??? he was shot by aussies

  • Wouldn't surprise me one bit if an Australian SAW gunner did make the lethal hit on Richtofen. Both the Aussie SAW crews with multiple Lewis and Vickers guns, and Capt. Brown with his Camel's twin Vickers, pumped the same .303 ammunition into the Fokker in the seconds before Richtofen shut down his Oberursel and crashed.

  • Update: A recent tactical-forensics study credits Sgt. Cedric Popkin RAA with the kill, based on all available original data from the battle plus laser geometry and computer ballistics.

  • and his name was manfred

  • red baron was shot down by a 303. machine gun on the ground no plane involed

  • No Way!!!

    It Was Snoopy!!

    BLASPHEMER!!!

  • lol keep on telling your self the red barons body was recoverd and the 303 bullet went through hs armpit and out his chest

  • Who gives a rats ass. It was Snoopy!

  • curse you red baron and all of your kind!!!!!!!!! aaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrggggggggggh!! curse you bloody red baron!!!!

  • Snoopy ftw!

  • Why was Snoopy shown flying a British plane ? You guys should've shown snoopy flying an American PT Mustang.

  • Well, for one thing they didn´t have P51:s in WWI.

  • the P51 Mustang was not around till late in the 2nd world war. Snoopy is actually being depicted as flying a Sopwith Camel, which is American built. Richtoffen was not shot down by a plane anyway. He was shot down by a ground based gunner.

  • Correction: Sopwith Aviation, Ltd., was an English company. The United States Marine Corps flew Camels in combat to determine carrier potential as well as what they could do tactically. Much of the Camel found its way into the Wright Whirlwind-powered Chance Vought XOU-1 after the war.

  • to bad red baron was not shot down by a plane

  • snoopy and wood stock rock!

  • i love snoopy! whoo hoo

  • That's why it's so good. And that's why it works.

  • This looks like the work of someone with too much time on their hands, but some of know better.

    Thanks for the history lesson.
