@BlueEye1Guy2Be - Not true. Gary Chandler's version was released in 1984. Q-Feel's original version was released in Mid-1982 for the Eurovision competition. Q-Feel's was re-released and shortened in 1987-1988 for the "Girls Just Want To Have Fun" soundtrack.
Helps when you know Martin Page (lead singer of Q-Feel) personally.

This is totally amazing!!! I love this version as well as Q-Feel's. I wish I could find a download somewhere with this version. Gary Chandler is good. :) I love originals.

I love this song. I used to dance to it at The Trocadero and at The I-Beam in San Francisco in the early to mid eighties when I was just a teen! I believe it was to Q-Feel's version that I danced to. That's the version I have on extended LP. I absolutely want to add this one to my collection. I love it!
