that beetle is called the longhorn beetle, and yes they are a tree beetle. i found some of them and they vibrate and make a low buzzing sound, they are pretty weird yet awesome!

the beetle you were talking about that we have here in the states is called the "best beetle." they prefer like really dry and dead wood.

yeah when i used to live in mussouri there were always toads. you could catch 10 in 2 minutes. box turtles were also pretty common

@Reebbo Have you ever been to the Dominican Republic? There are tons of things to see there. Anole's geckos snake you name it:) just last year i wen't and sat beside a coconut tree. it was dark, and something wen't THUMP. i thought it was a coconut but it was a huge toad. and there was a Hissing crab there to. PLease respond, and go there and make videos. IT WOULD BE AWESOME:) So yea please respond

totally dig your vids.feel the same way you do about herps.they are lovely.if you don't mind me commenting.that magnificent beetle,it's a longhorned beetle.they do make that clicking sound too.but you'll have to really irritate it to hear from them.totally awesome.vids and herps you got.totally envious of the areas around you like snake road.unlike the only forested areas here which are reservoirs.anyway keep the vids coming! :)
