@R3leaZ It is also a small tank at just 44 tons it is just over half the weight of a US M1A2. The small size of the tank is probably for fuel efficiency.

@NoOdL3z18 True. Light Weight means less fuel consumption. Heavy tanks like the M1A2 burn through gas like crazy. M1A2 is overrated by internet military fanatics.

@1992Xenomorph The Abrams is a very powerful tank, there are reports of them rolling over AT mines or and never stopping or just shrugging off direct hits from 125mm cannons on Iraqi T-72 Tanks, but the fuel efficiency problems limit their movement.
