i can tell. you it is annoying as hell, i had a freind battle and i was down to venusaur and jirachi, where as he had 4 pokemon left, and he quit because the strategy was so annoying , he couldnt do a thing.

as long as sleep powder does not miss, venusaur is being a good pokemon. as sleep powder most of the times miss when i use it, i prefer charizard or blastoise rs

wow close battle, i expected umbreon to survive the focus blast due to high sp def and then the dark pulse or leech would faint infernape, well at least its nice to see people using umbreon =D

If it's a Friend Battle, and if the player hosting it chooses it to be that way. Most of these are "With Anyone," which re-adjusts all of their levels to 50.

Phione is not Uber in a any way. Check the charts; people always classify Phione as UU or NU.

Because they're not the same thing.

A Legendary Pokémon is a one-shot Pokémon featured in Pokémon World mythology, hence the name.

An Uber is a Pokémon considered to have an unfair advantage against non-Ubers and are thus banned from most tournaments, official or not.

Not all Ubers are Legendary, and not all Legendaries are Uber. For instance, Wobbuffet is an Uber (though its status is in dispute right now), and Celebi is not.

actually swampert is best as he does more things then infernape.infernape is a sweeper pert is a wall/attacker and can use moves like roar and sr effectively most good players will tell you pert is the best then infernape venusaur is good to as is gatr,blaziken, sceptile, and empoleon

Infernape has Hidden Power Dragon. It works great against Pokémon who resists Fighting AND Fire.

Ok. now everyone learned that Venusaur is the best Starter Pokémon :)

It's one of the more difficult-to-use ones...and this one had an advantage because it was facing an Infernape in the rain.

All starter Pokémon can be very good if you train them correctly, by the way.

Overall though Infernape is probably the best one with Swampert in a close second. Venusaur is my favourite one

If I had known his third Pokémon would be Venusaur, I would have brought out Infernape. An Umbreon would most likely bolt upon seeing an Infernape, so I chose Phione to take on Umbreon...and he switched anyway.

There's nothing wrong with forcing a switch, all you do is predict and counter. If you think Umbreon will switch away vs Infernape, use nasty plot. If Infernape can fight the next one it'll be in a much better condition.

There were some things on that team that Infernape shouldn't face. Granted...its main threat was probably Kingdra.
