I strongly encourage everyone to do a YouTube search and find the original Scientology channel and do your own research. They are the most viewed channel OF ALL TIME. No one forces people to join their religion, just like no one forced people to become Roman Catholics. There are haters out there who don't know squat about either religion but choose to waste their time spreading lies and gossip. I will not tolerate that sort of hatred.

All charges against the Church were dismissed by the prosecutor.
All charges may have been dismissed, that doesn't mean Scientology was innocent. Kind of like CPS. Scientology uses the court system (which is already corrupt) to destroy its targets. Ok lets start with kids (some as young as 13) who get recruited into the sea org.
Sea Org members are not permitted to have children while working for the organization. Couples who get pregnant are either pressured to abort the baby, or they must leave. Often, these people have been in the Sea Org so long, they have nowhere to go, no resume outside of Scientology, no job experience, no finances, no property, and no non-Scientology friends.

The problem I have with the video is that they provide no proof of any age, just claims that stick out. Even European "children" with 15 or 16 work full time. How many of you guys worked a job after school? Just visit your closest Fast Food joint and take a look around.

I was not only referring to Germany. Look at Eastern Europe and the conditions you will find. I don't think it's wrong for a child to learn to work as long it's work it will be able to handle. I rather see the child or better teenager doing something as to waste time in front of their TV set.

The problem with labels, you can slap them on a product and hide the true origin. But you know what labeling is because you do it every day without knowing people.
Of course teenagers work jobs, but they also have to go to school. They need to have an actual education, either from a school or homeschooled. Children working at the orgs isn't illegal, but it is if it's ALL they do. It is an outrage if they work for 11 hours a day or more and recieve no education. That is what the outrage is about. I strongly encourage everyone to do a YouTube search and find the original Scientology channel and do your own research. They are the most viewed channel OF ALL TIME. No one forces people to join their religion, just like no one forced people to become Roman Catholics. They found some loopholes allowing them to keep their money in Australia, which limits their financial liability while allowing the tax breaks to continue.

Because Scientology has religious status in many countries, labor laws do not apply to the Sea Org. Therefore, Sea Org members have no protection from long and abusive work hours. Many Sea Org children work 17-20 hours days because of the pressures of the job. Anyone who complains is treated as though they are "not getting with the program", "unethical", or "not on board". Sea Org members are not permitted to have children while working for the organization. Couples who get pregnant are either pressured to abort the baby, or they must leave. Often, these people have been in the Sea Org so long, they have nowhere to go, no resume outside of Scientology, no job experience, no finances, no property, and no non-Scientology friends.

i never seen anyone that young working at any of the fastfood places i go to, you keep saying teens, the report also states preteens.you put down video games in one of the posts, many video games teach math, reading, spelling, history, ect. if you havent seen the new nintendo system, it helps with dextarity and forcest the kid to work out for many of its games and mesures how they progress through the exercise.

Oh, because the "report" says that Scientology employees preteens you are all over the place. Have you verified the story? I have talked about the video today with my ORG and we checked the staff lists and non of the positions described in the "report" was held by any underage person. I guess our internal lists must all be wrong.

First of all, you should consider the age of the children because they're teenagers and you can find them every day working. If you're in the US, take a look around that the fast food places. I rather would work with the church as to smell like grease everyday.

Anyone who leaves the Sea Org without permission is declared a Suppressive Person by the Church of Scientology, and is ostracized from family, friends, and loved ones. It is very difficult to get permission to leave the Sea Org, and one cannot simply quit and then walk out the door. The "approved" leaving process involves up to 3 years of hard physical labor, E-metered confessionals, social isolation and group pressure.

The problem I have with the video is that they provide no proof of any age, just claims that stick out. Even European "children" with 15 or 16 work full time. How many of you guys worked a job after school? Just visit your closest Fast Food joint and take a look around.

I don't know about other European countries, but in Germany children are allowed to work since 13 and then only 2 hours a day from Monday til Friday! Definitely not fulltime and not weekends. Oh, and of course not something that has to do with sex of adults as it is common in your CULT!

I was not only referring to Germany. Look at Eastern Europe and the conditions you will find. I don't think it's wrong for a child to learn to work as long it's work it will be able to handle. I rather see the child or better teenager doing something as to waste time in front of their TV set.

Children in front of TVs and computer games is really horrible. They should do really good children stuff. Playing outside,learning about nature and animals,sports and playing with other children and such things. But I would prefer the TV thing to the brainwashing cult thing. I wouldn't want my child to talk about sex to old perverts and it's common in Co$.Kids must have the chance to be kids.They are no adults and mustn't take the same responsibility. The word "teenager" is not the same like the word "adult". Think about it. Children are not adults, teenagers are not adults. And it's child labour until 18. Of course teenagers work jobs, but they also have to go to school. They need to have an actual education, either from a school or homeschooled. Children working at the orgs isn't illegal, but it is if it's ALL they do. It is an outrage if they work for 11 hours a day or more and recieve no education. That is what the outrage is about. Scientology is handicaping thier childrens educational, and social growth. Also regular teenagers are paid minimum wage per hour, not in nickels and dimes.
