very good video. I experienced the same tour on Oct. 1st this year, even with the same guide. It seems that you have been to some places that I haven't been, e.g. the school or on the rooftop of the residential house.
Although I have been also a member of such a tourist group I don't like that kind of tourism really much... I would prefer to explore it alone, without having time pressure but it's not easy to get a permission as a lonesome foreigner.
@motorpsychodelic It was an awesome experience. I don't think any of us felt that there was any time pressure - and at one point a couple of us split up from the group and went through most of the school building alone. When we finally left the building, our guide was standing next to the bus, smoking and looking very unconcerned. But maybe we had more freedom to explore because we all knew each other...
@Alrekrify A shade over 25 years and that land is as dead as your brain. you sound like a dumb old bastard from the 50's Let me guess hemp is the devil and the countless other renewable resources we have.. Cant wait till all you brainwashed dumb fuks croak
@blingmow101 And dead land? The area sorrounding Chernobyl and Pripyat is a haven for fauna and flora, several thretened species has taken over the land and is flourishing. The red forest is of course gone, but in all, the land is far from dead. People is starting to move back into their houses, inside the alien zone. You do know that the Chernobyl power plant was operational until 2000, 14 years after the accident? The guys in the video was 150 meters (490 ft) from reactor 4.

Scary, and we are still fukin with nuclear power?

@blingmow101 Relax, we've had 4 accidents. More people dies in coal mines every year than in the accidents on nuclear powerplants since the 50's.

@blingmow101 Dumb old bastard from the 50's? I'm from the late 80's, thank you very much.
Hemp is not the devil. Hemp is an amazing plant, capable of ridding the world of oil dependency.
The fact is: More people die from coal than from radiation. Actually, coal power plants release more radiation than nuclear power plants per megawatt.
If it were up to me, we would focus everything on renewable energy ressources - although it could have repercussions.
