I can well imagine that someone who went through the experience McCain went through as a POW would have a lot of anger issues. And I do appreciate his service. But:
1. It has been well documented that McCain's anger issues began long before he was taken prisoner. He was a wild, wreckless young man, often starting fights and taking risks.
2. Irregardless of where and when McCain's anger issues originated, it was up to him to get any psychotherapeutic and/or medical attention he needed to help correct the situation. John McCain comes from a wealthy and influential military family and is married to an extremely wealthy woman. It is and has always been within his means to get the best medical care.
3. Irregardless of why he has anger issues, he has them, and is therefore unqualified to be the leader of the most powerful country on earth. Military leaders have expressed their concern about having him in such a powerful position.
And last, if you really believe that Obama hasn't done anything for the U.S., it tells me that you are a partisan Republican who hasn't been paying attention.

You're right, it's possible that McCain tried to fix his problems and failed. But if, in fact, he couldn't resolve those issues, he should not get to be the most powerful person in the world. I feel confident that Obama would be no one's puppet. He is well-educated, ambitious, and has proven, through his work as a community organizer, that he cares about the lives of ordinary citizens. Yes I did read some stuff that did clearly state how much of an impact Obama has had on the States. I am afraid though that whoever is in office no matter what will always be the governments puppet. Having a temper may work for you in your life, only you can answer that. But a leader has to be even tempered. Angry outbursts in public reflect badly on a person, and by extension, on whoever that person represents, for example, the U.S.
When you respond in anger you are more likely to say things you will later regret. And when you lose your temper you lose control. A clever opponent can more easily manipulate you.

1. It has been well documented that McCain's anger issues began long before he was taken prisoner. He was a wild, wreckless young man, often starting fights and taking risks.

that's just ignorance. don't bring religion into politics. the bible tells you not to, and be an american if you're going to vote. i see why christians align so closely with the "GOP" though. they want the dark ages back, just like in saudi arabia. seeing as their religion comes from the middle east, christians feel more at home with candidates that think along the lines of saudi arabia and iran. hardline religious zaelots with their fingers on the nuke button.

McCain supporters, by definition, are smarter than Obama supporters just by the mere fact they are voting for McCain. Obama supporters are ignorant in that they don't know the first thing about their candidate and if they do, then they should be ashamed for casting a vote for him.

Unless you know something about Obama you really should not make that statement. The fact that you say that shows your ignorance. By the way, many Democrats will vote for him because he believes in more than abstinence only sex ed., or birth control remaining accessible to women, or making choices with international allies to back you, or you name it.
