Perhaps, instead of airing a commercial that extols the merits of a product that will NEVER be used in the manner it's being demonstrated, they should have an "interactive audience" placed at the trial when their legal team tries to PROVE that Prolong isn't "cement in a bottle" (like all PTFE derivatives). And eat shit, Brad Hogan. You know, it's funny - I've never met a "Brad" who wasn't a total cock. Or a Brit, for that matter. Huh, go figure...
I used to be a manager for the oil chaning industry (jiffy lube etc..) for 10 years and I can tell you that by far pro long is the best stuff out there , we saved engines that were run with no oil for 10 minutes with this stuff ..
By regular quality oil and pour this in every 5000 miles .
they also dont show who built the engine, and how tight the clearances were, and you cant hear the engine to tell if its knocking, as jb0177 said, ill be convinced if they put cement/sand in the sump and run it at high rpm, in a car, driven under load....
i put some in a 92 civic... it was stolen at 180k , found in the ghetto with all the fluids shot out from it... sold it to some honda guys who owned a speed shop...they only fixed the oil pan gasket & drove it for over 300k as a parts hauler. when they wanted to put a better motor in it, they drained the oil, drove it dry for over a month, and finally put a brick on the accelerator while in park and after 30 mins of bouncing off the rev limiter, w/ no oil, it finally died...
0:52 shows the motor running @ 1500RPM and pouring sand in the valves doesnt do shit addition to that the cement wasnt getting anywhere near the inner part of the engine...... false advertising
so what if the engine keeps running for the duration of the commercial under no-load? that's nothing compared to hauling the weight of a car for 200,000 miles. One commercial I saw for prolong had people saying "when my oil light comes on, i just stick a Prolong sticker over it and keep driving!" but hopefully nobody was stupid enough to do that in real life.

uuhhhh....
the valve seals are keeping the crap from getting into the cylinders.
I'll be convinced when they pour the cement into the oil pan and run it at 7000 rpm.
