@Chikokishi Birdy used fraps (I believe) to record as he was playing. I used the in-game recording feature and played it back whilst running winXP in a VM on my mac. (deep breath, lol) It meant I could use Copernicus for the screen capture and minimize the viewing window to get larger (i.e. readable) in-game text.
Yes, with ground detail set to 2 instead of 3. Only the airfields and hills have textures. You can toggle a grid on the ground (SHIFT-F3 i think) which helps you avoid crashing.

Iv been trying to make a video for a couple days, How on earth did you record the video? Everything i try records black. =(
