  • tbh i dont care. just think faggots are a bit odd... pussy for me if ya dont mind. ill stay away from mens anus lol

  • I got balls =D

  • lol romney, what an idiot

  • fuck this world, we are still savages...

  • Comment removed

  • cenk is so right. romney isnt real, thats why ppl dont like him. that and he uses hate to advance his ambitions. republicans use universal hate to fire up the knee jerk religious base for support. That will never change. they get too much mileage out of it.

    1 LIFE

  • @chestveeg

I call bullshit. "Love the sinner hate the sin" is a terrible ideology. First off, it's false emotion, and I'm really against that. Secondly, you're using "love" as an excuse for your vitriol. Your words and emotions are meaningless when your actions are taken into account, especially when you go about deliberately trying to harm others.

I.e., I don't care how you feel when you're actively denying other's rights, and I call you a coward for hiding behind that BS line.

  • big nose

  • If only the youth voted more, these idiot fundamentalists homophobic and xenophobic people wouldn't even get candidacy

  • Heh, it would be something if at that very moment you could have compelled Romney to say the truth against his will and he'd just blurt out;

Well, actually I have no problem with gay rights and gay marriage at all. It's just I have to appease these backwards medieval religious knuckledragging christofascist thugs from the south, or they won't vote for me, and these idiots are like a third of Republican votes. So I kind of have to stroke their collective balls. Fortunately they buy it easily.

  • Comment removed

  • I support Romney on his views, screw all of you who think that I and Romney are being politically incorrect, I don't care.

  • Sooo true, and thats the person you ppl want to be the president?? coward

  • why the hell is he offended ???he is the one that asked him for his opinion and rommney gave it to him!. You cannot always exspect people to agree with you.People really should not ask questions they dont want to hear the answer to.

  • @pitster110

Romney trying to run for public office, or am I over-simplifying... It wants to be President of the Fucking US, a position which'll influence much more than just NH legislation.

As you could tell, it directly affected that gay Vet. He's concerned about the sort of future he'd be walking into with Romney at the helm. Plenty of reason to be offended, completely reasonable.

  • A marriage is a relationship between a non-republican and a non-republican. Anything else is a moral aberration.

  • Why do I get suicidal thoughts in my head after listening to these two speak...?

  • @DP3mo24hofosho actually get religion out of marriage, there the problem would be solved, and a lot better

  • @mermaidsareppl222 I believe its as secularized as can be , anymore and it'll just be a contract telling you to "sign here"

  • @mermaidsareppl222 lol religion invented marriage. marriage is between man and women... theres a reason why civil partnerships are for same sex couples.

  • @Yeeeooo000 if that is true, then why does marriage predate religion?

  • @mermaidsareppl222 im sorry it doesnt. anyway never mind the term religion because i feel your associating it with organised religion. God created marriage. end of story

  • Why do we discriminant so much in favor of Vet's? People in our Army get paid to be in it, and they get so many benefits. Is like we discriminate against people that did not join the army. Discrimination is wrong. Then you get all these Vet's and the bandwagon carrier politicians kissing but, always wanting more, crying about more money or benefits, more discrimination in their favor. I mean you picked to join the army, you got paid good money, it ends there stop being a cry baby.

  • @Janetging2 shut the fuck up you pussy the only reason you get to make dumbass comments like that are because of veterans.

  • Im not an American but I follow the politics there a bit. From an outside point of view I find it amazing that Ron Paul is not way out in front for the Republican nomination, how do his economic views not make sense to everyone who hears and understands them? Paul's views on war, Muslims don't hate Americans because they are Christians (maybe a very minute crazy sect) they hate because your constantly having a presence in their territory, I really believe Ron Paul would rectify that situation.

  • RON PAUL 2012

  • Homosexual activists understand the power of words.

Please visit my channel to watch a one-minute video clip in which famous atheist Richard Dawkins admits that homosexual activists "hijacked the word 'gay'".

The word "homosexual" is more appropriate and accurate because it, unlike the word "gay", actually describes the behavior/attraction/relationship being discussed.

The word "gay" helps homosexual activists push their agenda.

  • @lightandbeautiful

There are MANY "slang" words, or synonyms. When the "homosexuals hijacked the word (gay)" it was the early part of the 20th century, when homosexuality was totally in the closet. There was no intention or agenda; it just manifested WITHIN the underground, gay community. Your admired atheist (on that subject) is full of BS with his THEORY. Ask all, and most would agee that it's easier to say "gay" rather than "homosexual" as is "black" rather than "African-American". Get it?

  • It didn't go over my head, it just wasn't relevant. Any lifestyle can be considered a "life" if you dont attempt to change. Any lifestyle can be controlled, and when it can't, it means your sick in the head. Nuns are not lesbians, but they abstain from men just fine. Once again, if they wanna give into their lifestyle, thats their choice to play AIDs roulette. But doesn't give them any more right to wed, than a murder to kill.

  • Like any other Republican candidates right now, Romney is a joke and has flip flopped on so many issues it's almost comical

  • Romney, shut up.

  • Comment removed

  • @lSeKToRl "Government benefits" aren't enough. Not all religions oppose persecution of specific groups' look at European history in particular. If you want to 'let people be', support marriage equality. Being 'let be' doesn't include legal discrimination against a group you see as inferior.

P.S., compulsive use of ellipses is not shorthand for profundity.

  • Romney is for gay rights, but sadly to get votes, he's "against" gay rights. On technical terms, Romney is more progressive than Obama! Again, it's sad that he rather sink himself so low to get votes. I don't trust him because of those reasons. He will say anything YOU want him to say.

  • Why do people care? Two consenting adults getting married (gay or straight) effects nothing but the two individuals involved. Why are people trying to ban love? When people are starving in the world, war is ruining childhoods and people cant pay their gas bill - why are we trying to ban love? It seems so irrelevant to me. Everybody pays bills, breathes, sleeps and is accountable by law - so why not have marriage equality for every human We all look the same inside.

  • @TheExecutiveDecision Still not sure women should vote? Oh, you're a circus clown.

  • By that, I do not mean state-by-state, I mean person-by-person. 4 the 1st time possibly ever in THIS rather young nation's history, 2 Gallup polls were run 2 determine the electorate's stance on this, nationally, and a slight but CLEAR majority now favors same-gender MARRIAGE. NOT merely domestic partnerships, NOT merely civil unions, but outright MARRIAGE. So E D (hmmm) can say "Hopefully not" all he or she LIKES, but it's ALREADY happening. "Sorry, Charlie...looks like democracy WON OUT!"

  • And, by the way, in the days of the Old Testament, racial equality (or lack thereof) was VERY MUCH a Biblical issue! Let's @ least B HONEST about this stuff, (Executive Decision), like Senator Alan Stuart Franken said after some of the key DOMA hearings in HIS chamber quite recently. See Acts of the Apostles Chapter 10 4 PRECISELY what I am talking about in terms of when things changed...& changed A LOT, theologically (ahem ahem ahem). OH, & America now SUPPORTS gay *MARRIAGE* nationally.

  • WHETHER we like it or not, primarily due 2 a STANDING PRECEDENTIAL RULING coming 2 us from way back in ***1803***, whoever said that ONE judge can overturn a majority vote is, in fact, incorrect. These days, it takes FIVE, & the FIVE must B from Washington, D.C., 2 4-ever overturn a law enacted by VOTE. The only popular VOTE they CANNOT overturn (& 4 good reason!) is an AMENDMENT 2 the CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES. @ that point, the PEOPLE genuinely "trump" even the SUPREME COURT we have.

  • Vote ***A B O***. In 2012 vote ***RED***

  • @DeepSouth16 Yes, you are. You are a racist and a fucking moron, bud. Do us all a favor and go kill yourself.

  • @DeepSouth16 -- What would you do if your daughter brought her black boyfriend home?

  • They're not there fighting for our freedoms. Vietnam had nothing to do with our freedoms. God knows what that vet did.

  • @YouTodayKing Maybe, maybe not. But without our military force, America would have never been what and where it has gotten to today. Be thankful for those that decide to do it so that you don't have to be forced into doing it like most other countries.

So here, have a nice cup of STFU!

  • @agentc0re That's not true. The military does not maintain the liberties of America. It's only there to prevent other countries from attaining liberty.

  • @chestveeg If only a few have "rights", then the reality is no one has "rights". Either all humans are treated as equals or we continue to spread hatred and segregate amongst our selves. If you are really serious of spreading your loving word of your all mighty, maybe you should try to be more like his loving image and accept all of his creations instead of prosecute them and stop treating them as if they weren't human.

  • As a Libertarian, I support privatization of marriage.

It protects the right to oppose gay marriage, but also doesn't deny rights of gay people.

Basically the government should quit recognizing and issuing marriage licenses, and only offer domestic partnership licenses for legal reasons.

Individual denominations, organizations, and churches should be the ones who either perform or don't perform gay marriage. Get the government out of our bedrooms!!

  • @hortulanus94 Nobody can be legally marry in a church. If you want it to be legal and have the tax and property benefits and rights that go with it. You must get a state issued license called a civil union, domestic partnership, or marriage license. Who cares what you call it. You are still legally married. "Get the government out of our bedrooms!!" I don't know about you but I married for love. How does ones bedroom play into it??

  • @dajo4939 Not exactly correct. What you're describing is the civil status of marriage in the US. "Civil unions" are a Jim Crow revival gimmick that politicians support when they think it's expedient.

  • @talkstocoyotes My point is it doesn't matter what you call the union. The fact is a legal marriage doesn't happen in a church. It happens with the state. There is a never ending argument that marriage is an institution that belongs to the church. That is incorrect. They may have a ceremony, but it doesn't afford you any state given rights. So, the argument fails. There is no reason not to allow gay couples to marry. Not one good argument against it.

  • @hortulanus94 exactly. and as an atheist id much rather have a union for the legal benefits, rather than one with all this religious stuff attached to it.

  • The GOP including your idol, Ron Paul , do not accept science , or Global Warming, when anyone with a brain can see it . Like nothing will happen if you put a trillion tons of smoke on the air. Everything will be just normal, no need to worry. What if all the dumps were closed and everyone just dumped all their garbage in the river or ocean ? Obama 2012

  • Mitt Romney said that in our country, since the Constitution, marriage has always been between 1 MAN & 1 WOMAN

But his ancestor, Parley Pratt, who along w/ Brigham Young (55 wives) was 1 of the major Disciples of Joseph Smith (36 wives), and who also had many wives.

Parley, like Bingham & Joseph, even talked married women into marrying him because it would be a "celestial marriage", but 1 upset husband shot him.

  • @DillonDee1 HAREM

  • @DeepSouth16 Really? How do you justify the existence of mentally retarded bigots such as yourself, then? Seems like your kind got stuck somewhere in the middle of the evolutionary process, and you know what? That's your fucking problem, and no one else's. Don't take it out on others just because you are a mentally deficient bigot with an attitude problem. I'm sure the people you are trying to demean are ten times better as human beings than you are, shit stain.

  • @DeepSouth16 Yeah, let's do away with any semblance of modern civilization and go back to the Stone Age, when we had nothing but anarchy and the law of the strongest. I guess you retrograde retards down in the south would feel right at home under that system.

  • @DeepSouth16 You are definitely stupid. Not surprising, as you are proud to be from the south, where pretty much everyone is stupid and bigoted. I feel for you, pal.

  • @DeepSouth16 Who are you calling freakazoids and perverts? Apparently you are one of those bigoted idiots who discriminate against people with a different sexual orientation, and you ought to be ashamed of yourself. Guess what? The 101st was called out in the 1950's to defend the rights of black kids who weren't being allowed by your kin to attend school due to their skin color, and that took balls, the same balls they have today. You, on the other hand, have shit for brains.

  • The GOP wants to control every aspect of your life and tell you how to live your life and yet they say they are for FREEDOM?

They are no longer even Americans

    We all see it.

  • @coltor9 No, the problem is America is no longer American. This country is free, if you don't think so then go take a visit to the middle east. This country does not need to bend to the acceptance of a mental disorder as a sexual orientation. Next you will be saying that America isn't free because pedophiles cant practice their sexual orientation. This country has bounds and you were unfortunately corrupted into living outside those bounds. We cannot cater to everyone, but you are still free!

  • @TheExecutiveDecision Your an idiot. You haven't dealt with the TSA yet. The GOP just passed a bill requiring the unemployed to show a diploma or GED and piss in a cup to get unemployment benefits that they and their employer paid insurance for!

This is like putting $100 into your bank and the next day when you go to withdrawl $20.00, the bank makes you show a diploma and piss in a cup to get your own money!

The GOP is slowly turning all the FREEDOMS we ONCE HAD into garbage.WAKE UP!

  • @TheExecutiveDecision Just listen to yourself you freakin idiot, telling people they're free and then in the same sentence calling people who are expressing their freedom,,,a mental disorder. Go fuck yourself with your bullshit! Let people live the way they choose to live their lives, leave them alone and don't force your opinion upon others and then WE WILL BE FREE! Damn conservatives! How many heterosexuals have cheated on their spouse? Divorced? Worry about that first!

  • @renijohn012270 Expressing their freedoms? By being gay? So what about those who want to express it with beastiality? Should their be no crimes then since they take away a persons freedom to act as they choose? SHould there be no limitations on anything? I don't care if they are gay, but dont think we should embrace their lifestyle. Gays want gay history in schools, how is that not forcing their opinion on us and our kids? Ill let them get married when they pay us restitution for starting Aids.

  • @TheExecutiveDecision "By being gay? So what about those who want to express it with beastiality?..."

Slippery Slope fallacy. Tell us why "Gay" is bad, not why allowing it will lead to bad things.

  • @Meatbag211 Gladly. Gay is most obviously not the natural design. If God, or The Goo depending on your beliefs, wanted gay marriages or relations then gays would have the ability to conceive and sustain by pro-creation. It is the cause and reason for the ongoing aids epidemic. It is a lifestyle that goes against the religious beliefs of 77% of this country.

  • @Meatbag211 You're truth to the subject hurt so many people, your message got flagged as spam. FWIW, i've counted the flag. :D

  • @TheExecutiveDecision You are obviously lost! Not understanding the meaning of Freedom and throwing stupid apples and oranges comments is silly, weak and childish! Once you begin to grow up, you will learn that America was founded upon the fundamental fact that ALL MEN ARE CREATED EQUAL! Stop twisting this subject into pedophilia and bestiality, that's your sick twisted head thinking those thoughts, not gay people! I'm straight and have more respect for gays than you!

  • @renijohn012270 You also say that people need to do whats right, no matter what others believe. That is exactly what we the GOP/Christians/Sane People are doing. We are doing exactly what we believe is right by trying to hault the advancement of a disgusting, lifestyle that we do not agree with. So technically you should see honor in what we do. Just because you want to stop being harrassed and want medical insurance for your partners aids treatments, doesnt mean we all have to agree or allow it

  • @TheExecutiveDecision There's a big difference in forcing your beliefs upon others. You're trying to hault the advancement of EQUAL RIGHTS, not someones lifestyle. I said I am not gay, so spewing your hatred upon me will get you know where! You conservatives are truly pathetic to take away human beings equal rights just because you simply disagree. Just like you want government out of your life, stay out of gay peoples life too! Now go back to watching Fox News and Hannity!

  • @renijohn012270 First of all, I don't watch fox news, and I do not watch Hannity. Couldn't even tell you what he looks like. I do not have a problem if you're gay. I don't agree with it, but I know gay people and I have no hate for them. Fact of the matter is that, in my opinion when it comes to the institution of marriage, I do not think you are an equal. You live an alternative lifestyle. I do not think that homosexuality should be seen as normal. I believe its a mental disorder/trauma.

  • @renijohn012270 You also need to understand that there is a big difference between, those of you who want gay marriage, and those who want homosexuality taught in schools and forced into our beliefs as normal. I do not want my kids being taught gay history in school anymore than you would want your kid being forcefully pushed into learning religion.

  • @TheExecutiveDecision Here we go again, you giving me your "OPINION", your "BELIEFS" Your opinions and beliefs should not be forced upon others. This is AMERICA, where people are free to express themselves, they have the freedom to live their lives the way they want to and no one should try to force their beliefs and take away peoples rights and freedoms. I believe conservatives are anti- American and deserve to be water-boarded. Should my belief become reality? NO!

  • @renijohn012270 The people that oppose gay marriage are not trying to take anything away or change anything because it is already the way we want it. You are the ones trying to change peoples opinions, change laws, change the traditional family, and change the way people think. So you cannot say "take away peoples rights or freedoms", when those rights don't exist. So your point is invalid. We cant take something away that you dont have. Keep voting maybe you'll get it one day. Hopefully not!

  • @TheExecutiveDecision Slavery was legal. Woman couldn't vote until 1912. Abortion was illegal between 1800-1973. WHY did they get overturned? Cause Americans came to the conclusion that it was wrong to discriminate, therefore, the laws were changed. You should be more concerned with heterosexual couples divorcing soo much, cheating on their spouses and couples who stray from their marriage and agree to it. This is more of problem than you telling others they can't marry!

  • @renijohn012270 Trust me I am very concerned with those problems. I do not believe in divorce except after infidelity, and even then I believe reconciliation should be attempted. Obviously I see cheating and straying as just as vile as homsexuality. So its not as if those problems just get a free pass because they are by heterosexuals. Slavery contributed to a bloody civil war, still not sure if women should vote,& abortion should still be illegal. So rally your troops, see whos willing to die.

  • @TheExecutiveDecision you sir are among the group who want to march backwards in a parade of stupidity

  • @TheExecutiveDecision "The way 'we' want it?" Maybe so, in the same context that "we" wanted racial segregation, marital coverture for women and legal recognition of discriminatory policies aimed at Jews. Times have changed since then and are still changing; and history is on the side of GLBT equality, like it or not.

  • @TheExecutiveDecision That's a familiar one; it's been floated by every type of civil rights opponent you can name: 'I have nothing against [fill in the blanks], I just want the law to continue to regard them as second-class citizens.' That's historically been bilge; and it's bilge now.

  • @talkstocoyotes And its absolutely true. This isn't something based on hate. I have close relatives that are gay. I hold no hate for them, but I will take no part in helping them acheive those rights. If I did, it would be going against my beliefs. The same way, I would politely decline an invitation to a commitment ceremony even for the ones I am closest too. It is their choice, and I will not interfer with that choice, until it comes to the point of asking me to endorse it, or promote it.

  • @TheExecutiveDecision The act of two individuals where by they both consent to have sex with each other is perfectly fine. The act of a person forcing an animal to sexually please their self is not even on the same spectrum! You can't even begin the compare the two as they have nothing in common. Are you calling homosexuals animals or are you only comparing it to that act because you find it equally disgusting? No one is taught to be gay, it's something that your born with.

  • @agentc0re I was not trying to claim you can be taught to be gay. I was refering to the teaching of gay history and the gay lifestyle in schools to children as young as 5. I do agree with you that some people are born with an imbalance that causes them to be gay, but majority of the time I believe it is do to trauma somewhere in life. Such as sexual abuse. As far as trying to justify anything because 2 adults consent is foolish. Two adults can consent to assisted suicide, but its still illegal.

  • @TheExecutiveDecision Again you have used flawed logic. You're still implying a third party who is a victim from a consensual act of two people. A married gay couple is consensual between themselves and it harms no one. Either remove privileges and extra beneficial rights for being married, or allow anyone to be married to any one of any sex.

If on the other hand you were implying that one help the other commit suicide, well you've just opened a whole new bag of potato's and is a bad example

  • @TheExecutiveDecision The law shouldn't have the ability to govern whether or not i choose to live or die just like they shouldn't have the ability to say a certain group of people have more rights than others. Either everyone is equally free or no one is free.

  • @TheExecutiveDecision Why are homophobes so obsessed with bestiality? They bring it up at every opportunity, however irrelevant it might be. Can't get enough of it. Until marriage equality became an issue I had no idea there were so many people out there you wouldn't want petsitting for you even for a day.

  • @talkstocoyotes Homophobes? I am not afraid of gays. I know plenty of them and even have some in my family. I just dont agree with their lifestyle. Doesn't make me a homophobe. My morals differ from yours in many ways, but doesn't mean its a phobia. It is also not a hate. It is just a difference of opinion and morals. What is so hard to believe about that? I am a Christian and have no problem understanding why believeing in god is so hard for some people. I accept that.

  • @TheExecutiveDecision I'm not afraid of men; I know plenty of them and even have some in my family. I just don't agree with their lifestyle. It doesn't mean I hate them, it just means I think they should try to not be men.

  • @hippiechickie18 was there supposed to be a valid point in your comment somewhere?

  • @TheExecutiveDecision It's called parallel structure, which I used to show how absurd your views are. Apparently that went right over your thick head. You don't agree with their "lifestyle"? Please. It's not a "lifestyle" it's a life.

  • @coltor9 Dude it is not about party. Forget Democrats vs Republicans, or Liberals vs Conservatives. The battle that is at hand are your liberties vs Banksters and Corporations. Forget about Obama and forget about all the other candidates except Ron Paul. Stop voting for more BS and make your vote count for principle. Vote Ron Paul in 2012!

  • @coltor9 neither are democrats.

why do you think more libs conservatives and libertarians are supporting Ron Paul

  • I havent seen this channel before but Ana K. You need to work on public speaking.....specially being on having a discussion channel

  • I love this channel but you guys HAVE to do something about those subtitles. They're not 100% accurate.

  • Bravos to Bob Garon and Boos to Mitt Romney. I'm hetero and enlisted in 1969 because, according to the Constitution, WE ALL have the same rights. Or, rather, we're supposed to. It was once illegal for Catholics to hold office, it was once illegal for blacks to vote and someday soon this, too, will be in that column of history. I live in Vermont now, the FIRST state to make 'gay' marriage legal by law, not court decision. And I'm damn proud of it.

  • I just don't understand the big deal about gay marriage or gay ppl in general. I totally agree with the veteran his partner should totally get the same benefits.

  • Bob Garon is no doubt getting death threats from christians now.

  • @DeepSouth16 I agreee with you.Marriage should be something that is done exclusively in the church & let government grant civil unions. That would be the proper thing. But since people have allowed marriage to go from being a religious sacrament to a part of the governmental process, there seems IMO to be no fair reason to stop people from getting married from a legal standpoint. Can't turn back the clock on what marriage is now that gay people want to do it. Should have never gotten to that point.

  • @unisol06 -=- ignore DeepSouth -- he's a racist

  • Mitt Romney is a Mor(m)on

  • @DeepSouth16

So homosexuals are "freakazoids" and "perverts" for wanting to engage in consensual intercourse with each other? How ridiculous.

  • anna has nice boobies

  • Now I'm wondering Mitt Romney is homophobic.

  • Romney is the kid you alaways wanted to beat up in school because he would probably have been a pussy snitch. He would be the one to run to the pricipal to rat you out because you were making out with Pamela in the gym durring study hall. He's the one that would have come to (show and tell) with pictures of his families yatcht trip to Aruba for Christmass where his older brother tought him how to give girls the date rape drug. That's how I read him in my crystal ball "I'm just sayin."

  • you guys really need to fix your subtitles.

  • @DeepSouth16 Gays do not have the same rights as straights, not even straights whose marriage patterns keep their bloodlines pure. In a majority of US states, you can still be fired from your job for no reason other than being gay, and gays can't marry the adult of mutual choice. The argument that they can marry someone of the opposite sex 'just like everyone else' is a revival of an old argument in favor of legal bans on interracial marriage.

  • @talkstocoyotes -- DeepSouth is likely from a state in which gays can be discriminated against in many ways.

Here in Texas you can fire someone for being gay & you dont have to rent to someone who is gay unless you live in Austin.

  • This is what happens when people say things that they don't actually believe just to win votes.

  • He used to be for gay rights, then he took an arrow to the knee.

  • Where is the marriage clause in the Constitution?

  • This is something you won't see on the Fox News Channel.

  • Just looking at Mitt Romney makes me feel greasey. He's like the worst faces of new labour rolled into one.

  • What's new. The GOP is against Gay's, Minorities, The Poor, The Middle Class, Veterans, Teachers, The Elderly, The Handicapped, The Homeless, The Unions, The Constitution, The Bill of Rights, Women and a bunch more.

They are for Millionaires, Big Oil, Big Pharma, Big Banks, Wall Street, War, GED's and Drug Tests to get Benefits, Health Insurance for the rich only, and huge bonuses for CEO's.

Another words, the GOP are no longer Americans.

  • @coltor9 Couldn't have said it better there Coltor9! GOP= Grumpy Old Pricks!

  • Mitt says that since our Constitution we've always recognized that marriage is betwen ONE MAN AND ONE WOMAN

OK, Mitt, but recognize that your father, grandfather, & great-grandfather lived in a town where marriage could be between ONE MAN AND ONE WOMAN AND ONE WOMAN, ETC

  • Religion is a mental disorder.

  • I would be in favor of gay marriage but this damn book that prevents me from thinking for myself won't let me.

  • @JJPHILLYLG bahahahahahaahahahahaha your comment made me laugh so hard.....good one man good one *wipes tear from laughing so hard*

  • @UncaTuck. Sure I can prove the god you belive in doesn't exist, because its the hindus that are right. If you have evidence to the contrary, now is the time to show it.

  • I believe that same sex couples should reap the same benefits as an opposite sex couple provided that they are "legally married"!

  • @Thayer79 Now imagine if you presentes your case in a way that was nonabrasive to religious people. You could be saying "its wrong for the government to get into personal affairs and since the laws are secular the christian view of marriage is irrelivant.'. but your ranting about religious people might make some people overlook romneya bigotry. Because antitheism is bigotry as well. If you dont want to give up antitheism then the argument will remain the same.

  • @Kooshkff

When are religious people going to care about presenting THEIR case in a way that is non-abrasive?

  • @SiriusMined

You say that as if its a fact that they do! That's Bigotry :P

Aside from youtube arguments and neocons on TV i've never experienced it.

Look you don't have to take my advice. But if you really care about this issue then make friends, not enemies.

  • @Kooshkff

No, that's reality. Decent religious people don't make a case at all. They believe what they believe and they aren't out to condemn or convince others. The ones making the arguments, plenty abrasiveness. Get out more.

As for bigotry, I never said that ALL religious people are abrasive. Stop projecting.

As for friends, I have plenty. I'm not here looking for friends although I've made some, including some believers. Go check out rationalroundtable. Act like HIM.

  • @SiriusMined

"The ones making the arguments, plenty abrasiveness."

If I see it I won't support it.

  • watch?v=ZqMUG1uNK_Y - - - - Watch it for yourself the gay guy even Thanked him for looking him in the eye and telling the truth, I don't like Mitt Roomery but he did the honourable thing here

  • When will you people realize we are a republic and not a democracy. A democracy is one of the worst forms of government. A republic is when 99% agree on a law and the one percent has to follow. A democracy is when 51% are the majority and pass a law and 49% have to follow. That is 49% of the nation that is not very happy with government.

  • @29sublime

You don't seem to understand either republic OR democracy

  • @Thayer79 You dont seem to understand that religion is a freedom and a lifestyle choice as well. what you just described is a republic. And again i agree that gays should have their rights. But you cant be choosey about nonconflicting rights. Bashing religious people is not going to help your cause. After all the vote is democratic. You're working against your cause by making people bitter. Why should they care about your gay lifestyle when you trash theirs?

  • @Kooshkff If religion is a "lifestyle choice", then churches shouldn't be getting tax breaks.

  • This kind of outdated, backwards mentality is the reason why the GOP will lose the election in 2012. They just don't want to admit that the 21st Century is here and that their old bigoted ways are archaic.

  • @armyveteran101st

Amen. And thank you for your service with the 101st.

  • @armyveteran101st Why does anyones opinion or views have to change with time? Secondly, at least here in CA we voted against same sex marriage, as I believe most states that had the oppurtunity to vote did. So If you're all about staying with the times, then you should disagree with it because majority of America does, beyond what the liberals and gays would like you to believe. A person does not need to morph their morals or their gag reflex just because you want them to.

  • @TheExecutiveDecision "here in CA we voted against same sex marriage"

It's cool with you that a simple majority of the population can vote to take away or give you your rights? Say, firearms or church tax exemption, for example?

"A person does not need to morph their morals or their gag reflex"

Such a statement could easily have been said during the Civil Rights movement.

  • @Meatbag211 Its called the democratic process. Do you think it is acceptable that a mojority can vote one way, and a single judge can overturn that decision? Such as what happend in CA. The democrats are already working taking away those rights. Trust me the coin flips both ways. There is plenty going on in this country I do not agree with, but the votes have gone against my opinion, the same way it is for you. Its call America!

  • @TheExecutiveDecision " Do you think it is acceptable that a mojority can vote one way, and a single judge can overturn that decision?"

If the majority voted to deprive me of my right to vote, I would expect a single judge to overrule that as unconstitutional.

The idea is that certain rights have not been ceded to the government, and therefore the government has no say on those rights. Hanging around with the unpopular crowd and loving the person you wish is among those rights.

  • @Meatbag211 If democracy is optional, then why do we even bother? Why do we vote when our votes can be over turned by a lesser majority? You cannot claim to be an american, and then curse the system that this country was built on. I have heard gays say numerous times that being married doesn't define a person. If thats true then leave it alone. Gays have been around nearly since the beggining of time. They all went through life unmarried and made it out just fine. Get over it!

  • @TheExecutiveDecision oh btw gay people were allowed to get married in ancient civilizations however that all changed during the dark ages a time when stupidity ran rampant

  • @jackthayer Liar, liar, pants on fire.

  • @lizard944 wtf what are you 3 years old?

  • @Meatbag211 Church tax exemptions should definitely be revisited. After all, religion isn't something you're born with and we shouldn't be spending taxpayers' money to support anyone's lifestyle choice.

  • @TheExecutiveDecision A majority of Americans disagreed with desegregation and racial equality back in the day, (some still do), and they expressed that disagreement forcefully. That didn't make them right. Prop 8 in CA was and is unconstitutional, yet people voted for it out of ignorance and prejudice. Were they right? NO. Would you jump off a cliff just because a majority of your peers does it too? You have to do what is right, regardless of what anyone else may believe.

  • @armyveteran101st You are contradicting yourself. You say that the GOP needs to get with the times. Then ask if i would jump off a bridge because my peers do it? Isn't asking the GOP or Christians to get with it, like asking them to jump off a bridge because their peers are? Are you also saying that democracy doesn't work? Should voting be abolished? The people voted & the gays need to accept that & stop looking for loopholes. I like how you only like the democratic process when it goes your way

  • @TheExecutiveDecision The people who voted against a right for homosexuals to marry were wrong, just like the people who opposed racial equality back in the day were wrong. More importantly, they expressed an intent that is contrary to constitutional principle, and that intent cannot be allowed to prevail. If you can't understand that very simple reality, I don't know that you have the mental ability to understand much of anything else.

  • @armyveteran101st Racial equality was not a biblical issue. To those who are religious, their religion is the #1 thing in their life. You cannot expect these people who see your lifestyle as a wicked, ungodly way of life, that leads a path to hell, to ever accept your way of life. Its like asking a muslim to lay with a pig. Its just not going to happen. We dont care if you are gay or what you do at home, but the minute you ask us to embrace it, or accept it sociallythat is where we must stop it.

  • @TheExecutiveDecision Who's talking about biblical issues? The Bible and the U.S. Constitution are two very different things, and the law of our land is the Constitution, not the Bible. Your personal opinion of gays is only that, and has no legal bearing on the subject. And no one is asking you to embrace anything. What you are being asked to do is recognize that the constitutional rights of gays are just as legitimate as yours or mine. Put the Bible down and be reasonable.

  • @dajo4939 Say whatever you need to say, as I respect most opinions. But please start with how I lied about there being a video. Seriously, before you say anything else, tell me how I lied about seeing this video that doesnt exist. Thanks.
