This aircraft is UGLY; and out of proportion, it's back fin is too high and the wings are far too long for the body. Should have made the fuselage at least another 20ft longer.
This aircraft has no elegance, even the nose of this aeroplane has an ugly shape, like a bottle-nose dolphin.

Airbus's mission was to build a BIG plane. I honestly would rather fly in a nice looking plane, rather than flying in 'the world's biggest plane' It's a awefully good plane, and flys nice, but it is not very pretty while doing it. Imo.

Yes you are right. But also keep in mind that the number of crash or people killed is not enough argument. This is becasuse this airplaine is new and have not any serious crash yet. Instead 747 boeing has many years in market and is logical to have more crash with in relation to the hours of flight. I mean that crashes are based in the amount of flight hours per airplane and not the number of crashes alone.

Let's use basic math here:
787 sold 840 units in 6 years
840 / 6 = 140 units per year
A350 sold 505 units in 4 years
504 / 4 = 126.25 units per year
140 units per year for 787
~126 units per year for A350

economy - 700 euros
buisness - 27000 euros
1st class - 6300 euros
These planes will fly around 1/2 empty, I give it 6 years, Airbus is gonna stop making them & the sucker clients will stop flying them...no profit.

An Bord des größten Passagierflugzeugs der Welt sind rund 470 Passagiere. Am Sonntag geht der A380 in den Linienverkehr zwischen Singapur und Sydney.

Airbus liefert A380 an Erstkunden aus.
Heute 15.Oktober 2007 liefert Airbus den ersten A380 an den Startkunden Singapore Airlines aus. Ende Oktober soll das weltgrößte Passagierflugzeug in den Dienst gehen. :-)

Well Guess what these landing gear issues on jetblue and America West Airlnes on the Airbus A320 NOBODY DIED on these flights. US Air Flight 427 and United Airlines Flight 585 Eeveryone Died on these flights.A Rudder control problem was at fault on the boeing 737 around 1991-1994. The rudder would Jam and reverse and the pilots couldnt control the plane and it slammed into the ground.
Boeing 737 Fleet=115 with a total of 3272
fatalities
AirBus A320= 17 with a total of 618 fatalities

If you calculate it, the airbus 320 has about 6.7x less aircraft than boeing. when you multiply the 618 fatalities by that 6.7x difference, you get airbus 320 with over 4000 fatalities, way more than boeing.

Bullshit, this is the only plane on earth which consumes 3,3l/per 100km/passenger.Emirates just said the efficiency of this plane is "stellar".Only the 787 will be able to match this.

Sorry, but with regard to passenger aircraft, the Concorde was the best plane ever made. To get this A380 to fly was stupidly easy compared to making Concorde work.

lol that is why only one crashed...ever. It wasn't too dangerous at all. It was an amazing aircraft, with capabilities far beyond it's time. It is still as fast or faster than the majority of military jet aircraft, and it was made 38 years ago. That is some achievement if you ask me, and it looks and sounds much more spectacular than this lumbering great giant of an aircraft ever could.If ONE, just ONE of these A 380s crashes, it will have killed 5 times the amount of people Concorde did.

No the only accident was even not coused by the concorde but by an MD11 (i think) it loust it engine support and a peace of metal came on the rwy that coused an engine faillure and burned the wing.
