You know what is in cellophane bags? Party favors! Especially chocolate candy with peanut butter inside! That's what I immediately thought of when I heard this.
I'm not sure about that, sweetie, but if you put in a request for that particular sound most of the ASMR video makers (like Leviticus45 here) will be happy to make a vid and/or audio for you! They're always real generous about that! :)
I love to gently tickle the sides of my face and arms with my fingertips when I listen to these kinds of noises...gives me the good kind of goose bumps. I don't think there's anything more relaxing than the sound of crinkling cellophane and rustling paper. I used to love to be in the grocery store when the chip guy was filling the shelves with bags of chips. I know people thought I was nuts when I'd stand the next aisle over, lean on my cart with my eyes closed, and just chill. I love this!!
@ja027066 I've always stroked my arms and neck to chill to these kinds of sounds too - wow, I thought I was a one-of-a-kind weirdo all these years lol!
No,darlin,I'm afraid you're definitely not the only weirdo out there! LOL! Imagine my surprise when I typed in "sounds of crinkly bags" here on youtube (just to see if by some miracle I might actually find what I was looking for) and all these different results popped up! I was even MORE shocked to discover that those tinglies I feel when hearing these types of sounds actually had a scientific name (ASMR) and that hundreds of other ppl had these feelings, too! Pure joy ever since!! ;))
When I first saw the video title I was like, WTF, who would find that relaxing, but then I started listening to it and it was so relaxing. Sometimes you just don't know until you try something I guess.
can you do the recording of when a car drives over a crack in the road?? ever since ive heard that sound when i was a little kid, ive gotten tingles every time i hear it...
Oh!!! I love this sound!! I am having a really stressful....well, year,so its nice to just listen to this and relax a little. Thank you! XOXOX *subscribed*
It's funny. Listening to this is relaxing...listening to most, if not ALL of these..is relaxing. Yet if someone were to actually be doing this next to me, it would drive me crazy... *subscribed*
@Aussiegirl265 I'm not sure I am dedicated to YouTube so much as I am dedicated to the pusuit of sleep...if that makes sense. Thanks for your continued support! I enjoy all of your comments. I'm not sure what I would do if you stopped checking in.
I love it! Can you make a vid. of running your fingers against the grain of falbric that has a slight ridge or texture - like vinyl, it makes that "vwip" sound that is so amazing! thanks :o)
OMG! I thought that I was weird, I thought I was the only person who enjoys these sounds... I get all relaxed to this sound, page turning, and clothes hanger clanking... thanks for the vid!! your freaking rock!
These videos of yours, especially this one, always put me to sleep on restless nights. Thank you so very much. I also have a request.. The sound of a hard bristle brush brushing through hair. I love that sound! Might be just me though. Lol
Great series of sounds. Just one little think I believe you could improve. Sometime it sounds too fake. Not the sound itself, but the behavior of the actor. For example, the actor shouldn't turn pages at the same rate if he is actualy reading. Quiet moments are relaxing too. Thx
@yoziva Excellent feedback, that is something I have considered as well. Random sounds are much better than calculated ones and random is far more natural.
She does many relaxing videos. Her voice is very relaxing.
Also, check out scrapbook racks. The videos of scrapbookers who get big boxes of crafting supplies and they share with others by youtube videos. You'll love them!
I just have to say, thank you so much for your ingenious videos. This one is another great one!
Your work is so much appreciated!!!
No pressure, but I would still love a video with turning pages where the thumb and index finger make that loud rubbing noise against the pages as they are being tuned. It's the fingers trying to get traction against the page. That sound is Heaven to me.
I know you get alot of requests as it is, but do you think you could record the sound of scissors cutting paper? I love your creativity in all of your videos btw.
wow, when im listening it feels like im on drugs? its hard to explain but my head goes funny? its so nice. lol. please dont take this as a complaint, i mean it as a praise
@kgm2000 I'm happy you responded first because this audio is quite crinkly. Now I know that at least one person appreciated it. So it was worth the effort.
Wow finally people who understand! I love it when I listen to these videos and getting the tingly feeling, and I thought I was the only one!

I don't suppose anyone knows of any thicker plastic bag videos on the site? Like the ones you'd keep your reading books in at school?
