  • dead rite about the blade shape( D373) It dosent peel the dirt out very well

  • the old man and i got our d6r and the same year d65 with the same shoe size and rippers on each blade to blade the cat shat all over the komatsu 1st an 2nd gear even up hill never had video camera there at the time so sorry no vid 4 you tube and highly unlikly we be doing it again coz we hired the 65 when an extra machine was needed correct me if wrong but i think the komatsu had more hp aswell lol cats alot more nimble 2 dont like cat excavators though lol hitachi all the way .

  • I suspect that Komatsu will outdoze a Cat D8R/T in the same dirt conditions.

Any chance of arranging for both types to go dozing side-by-side?

  • That blade is an utter crap design. Look at how the dirt won't roll up it, when it's full. It's just a dead load. Watch an old Allis Chalmers pushing and you'll see a good design blade, that fills up easy, rolls the dirt at all times, and makes some production. That 155 above would make me weep to drive it. A decent blade would increase its production by 20% or more.

  • yeah real power.. pushing a loose windrow lmao and still having trouble going.

  • awesome

  • cool!
