what is it about left-wing thugs that they advocate THEFT (nationalization) as the answer for any little gripe. PRIVATE PROPERTY protection made this country great. Nationalization is evil tyranny that will make the country descend into ruin.

Whole Foods provides HSA's for their employees. A program that advocates better health and individual responsibility must scare the heck out of single payer advocates. The whole idea of millions of Americans with tax-free FDIC insured health care nest eggs that can be passed from generation to generation is the antithesis of their being.

Republican and other outspoken opponents of medical reform want to wipe out Medicare, Medicaid and even increase what people pay for limited medical insurance.
They want to destroy any reasonable form of affordable medical insurance and provide even greater long-term profits for insurance companies.
Theyre not worried about end-of-life care; theyre worried about profits. And they know that with no real reform, Medicare, Medicaid and low-cost medical insurance will be financially wiped out.

Let me get this straight. Obamas health care plan will be written by a committee whose head says he doesnt understand it, passed by a Congress that hasnt read it, signed by a President that talks without facts and who smokes, funded by a treasury chief who did not pay his taxes, overseen by a surgeon general who is obese, and financed by a country that is nearly broke. I am disappointed in Whole Foods CEO, I will be boycotting Whole Foods. The CEO appears to be betraying Whole Foods philosophy as well as Whole Foods customers, and of course now Whole Foods is now associated as being against healthcare human rights for all. So Whole Foods is just in it for the money like every corrupt corporation, NOT about social justice as they have pretended.

Could Mackey speak out without "using" his position? Could Obama state an opinion without "using" his position? Clearly not. Regardless of his personal position, Mackey is actually one of the "good guys" and if anyone would take the time to seriously review his personal/professional resume, they would undoubtedly come to the same conclusion. It is a reflection of personal ignorance for anyone to condem Mackey for bad labor practices ... anthropology professor or not. Bad labor practices? Hardly.
