touch pro and diamond aren't similar, they have only same case. Diamond doesn't have slot for microsd. It has got fewer ram. And, finally, it doesn't have QWERTY.

I have the touch pro and i personally don't like the overall feel of the phone itself. The dpad is bad on the pro, no camera button, funny button lay out.

@dmspit yup u can use your wifi in your house, school, ect. any place that has wifi for free. You do not need a data plan. I don't even have a data plan because i got the windows phones when it wasn't required to get a data plan in 2006. You have to ask your cell phone company if you can get around it.

i have HTC touch Pro and i dont regret! but i dont know how to instal GPS and what shoud i do to have gps on it. I heard that u can buy with 100 $ a SD card with the GPS program on it and Europe map and once you insert the card in to the device it will automaticly instal the softer. no, touch pro not better. they both have the same qualcomm 528mhz processor but hd has a better wvga res, and the touch pro just vga. so the stuff will of course load faster on a lower res device :) hope you guys understand. hd is better in general :)

actually there are tons of apps for WM phones, it's openware, so you can create your own apps, just stop acting like the iphone is the only thing in the world MR. MAC, don't think i didn't notice your name! do a little research and you'll see plenty of cool stuff for WM phones, although you have to search them out, alas there is no APP store for WM handsets. but also consider this phone has an internal camera for video conferencing-not going to see that on an iphone anytime soon!

I don't like that you have to Jailbreak it to use it anywhere besides AT&T(which violates the contract...)

I like Htc's touch pro 2's TV output, it's slide out offset querty keyboard, it's worldwide band capability including HSPA, I LOVE that it supports AAC music files and MP4 video capability, since i use itunes. I also love that it's wifi capable!

in terms of design I'm leaning towards the Touch Pro because it handles and feels more like a phone. Without the handsfree it would feel more awkward to handle the Touch HD with one hand as you put it to your ear because of its dimensions.

it kind of depends, if your more buisness oriented and like typin with ease then i would say touch pro, but if you,re into form factor and buisness, then the touch HD would be better. Personally i would pick the touch HD there are just so many positives that superceed the touch pro.

It is absolutely fantastic.

Judging by the video, the internet access time is just slower on the PRO, but the actual program and internal file access time is faster.

Also you cannot go past the keyboard, this works wonders for me when I need to write up notes or messages and web addresses are easy to input.

3.2 Megapixel camera or 5 megapixel too. 3.2 isn't too bad and I'm happy with it. As for 160*480 pixels, meh I can do without it.
