I think Mike is right: Fake. There's a section at about 1 minute where the audio is fast shakes (forget what that's called) and his bow is clearly not doing it, then soon after there are huge string-changes hears, and he's just bowing on one string.

FAIL.

This must have been a really big file for it to have to be exported at dialup size and have such crappy sound. He sounds really good though but why is no one paying attention to him and just walking by? Must be in New York where most people are assholes.

Excuse me? New Yorkers are not being assholes. The Subway is not a home stereo system or a "free" live concert. It is a place to be from point A to point B via train transportation. People are not paying any attention to him and walking by because that is the "etiquette" of the city. The same thing goes for entertainers, preachers, activists who preach/entertain on the train itself. You politely walk away or don't look at all. It's just the way of life. This does not mean we are assholes.
