Is that all? not only were most of those prestacked, but he was incredibly sloppy about it, who's gonna clean that floor up? And the table wipe down....gross, I wouldn't wanna eat on that table after that wipe job....then he puts the tub on the table after wiping? I bus that fast if not faster, I pre-bus almost all the plates, and I have to SANITIZE the tables after I bus them, then empty my tubs in the dish room in an organized fashion but have to do it fast, usually on 30+ minute wait nights.
@masterlionheart ha are you kidding me dude every time i visit MB i go to this place.Him and his family on the place! he doesnt work those short hours like you he prepares the place to open n cleans everything when it closes you wouldn know anything bout running a business tho. Oh and all those supposed prestacked plates had food on them watch again n you will see him dump the food outta every one.Stop being immature to him just bc you have nothing on him:P We all love Isaac!!!!
Actually I work open to close quite a bit doing prep work as well. 7am-11pm. And prestacked plates are still prestacked, makes things a lot easier. Regardless, a table shouldn't have anything except cups by the time people leave if the busser is doing his job.
i was in myrtle on the march break and this guy is awsome, He was so fast it was unbeliveable. Looks way faster in real life. and yeh man the chocolate pizza is fricken amazing. And its not called the filling station anymore.
That table needed a pre-bus damn. Unless it was setup. But yeah no way can we make a scene like that at my restaurant lol. And Oavereva is right once that adrenaline hits you don't get tired haha. Bussing is kind of fun with the adrenaline.
crappp. someone made a huuuuge mess for him to clean up. but i cant talk. each time i go there i always eat about 12 pizzas. most of them being the chocolate chip. but man he's a beast. he showed us his laminated news paper thing that told his story. pretty amazing how he stopped his crack addiction.
I have a video of this guy singing to me.. him and my family are really good freinds.. when I was 5 or 6 he sang to me and when I am 12( now) in march he sang a song Good morning Beautiful day!
We just got back from eating there. It's called THE FILLING STATION and it's in Myrtle Beach. I HIGHLY recommend it. It's a feeding trough but the food is pretty good and the atmosphere is GREAT, thanks to Isaac and his great attitude. Man, he is FUN to watch and even more so, he is a great guy. All throughout his super-quick bussing, he thanks the Lord and sings hymns. I will post a video next week of him, so don't miss it. I'll title it, "The Filling Station - Isaac." God bless him!
and if you actually know his story. He had an addiction to cocaine. he came to know the lord and he says it helped him stop. God gave him the gift of speed which allows him to bus tables so fast. He had 64 foster children throughout the course of his life making probally a little over minimum wage if you ask me that is an awe inspiring story. which is why he is my hero.
I aint know this dude was famous we took a high school band trip down to myrtle beach in 01. I saw him going off I thought someone had pissed this dude off.
'cant'--There's no such thing as taking too much pride in honest work, liar.
You need to take more pride in your vocabulary. Using "like" as you do is horrible grammar.
He needs to be more careful about cross-contamination, though. Who knows what's on condiment containers since people are always touching them? People shouldn't touch the tops of them or at all unless their hands are clean.
Best part about stuff like this on the internet is that this happens everyday at my restaurant and people cheer us on all the time. It's great, especially when you get tipped out from customers for going so fast.
