you can also try going into the Bios and bump up your ram on your onboard GPU/graphics card, yea it takes more ram from your system ram, but sometimes it works.but yea i used to sell vostro 1000's at my store....office laptops they are...next time try a Gamers republic laptop from asus, when they discontinue the lines they go dirt cheap...pretty kick ass laptop s too for such a cheap price
This game was... ok... But really frusterating at times... Sometimes it leaves out explinations that are really important and leaves you to figure it out which is a bitch... Plus driving the car is a pain in the ass...

yeah i have it on ps2 and im about to switch it for a 360 copy even if i have to pay like 20 more bucks, it looks like shit, and w/o outstanding graphics, a survival game just becomes dull and not scary lol
Its glitchy and the controls are bad and the driving is pretty bad. But if you can put up with it there is a very unique game under all of that. Its a lot of fun and very interesting.
oh and also, im wondering is it one of those games where it has a ton of problems but still manages to be a really fun game. I would consider Perfect dark zero one of those games. well if it is, then i could probably enjoy it.
Yes that is really the best way to describe this game. Truly a flawed masterpiece in my opinion. Suffer through the controls and the roots of evil its a really fun game. What system do you plan of getting it for.
The xbox 360. i dont have a ps3 or wii so its my only choice cause i dont really play games on pc because they take up to much space. I'm sure that its fun on every system though.
The PS3 version is the best version. But i had it on 360 before PS3 and i thought it was fine but thats just me. But i can't really say. While the 360 version is a huge step up from PC and Wii. You should get this game used or rent it first if possible.
I played a demo of it. i thought it was pretty good. i was surprised by all the interactions that the game had. I also liked the "previously on alone in the dark" sections. The inventory was really creative and I liked the way that you had to heal your wounds. And the many creative ways to make weapons was also great. the game was glitchy, some of the controls could have been improved, but it was very creative and it's not the type of game that you see everyday, i'll try renting it soon.

if you can look past the dodgy controls and changing camera angles, this is a fucking awesome game with some of the best cinematic cutscenes ever, the music is fantastic and changes depending on the enviroment and whats going on the screen.

this game is okay i wouldn't say its bad. its pretty kool that it offers a different kind of gameplay. the setting in the game is pretty kool cause everything is all torn and messed up. the driving was okay also....well kinda awkward controls but we can still drive. lol im not actually a fan of survival horror games but for some reason i like this one! haha 7.0-7.5 :D
i'm not quit sure y people gave this game a bad review its i really interesting in my opinion. the story is pretty good but really short and the graphic ya are OK but the game play is actually kinda fun beside from the driving lol that could be fixed better. but i really enjoyed play some of this game i really haven't beaten it yet i sent it back to gamefly a few days after i got it for somereason which ill probably rent it again.

This trailer makes it look really bad, l like it doesnt even show you fighting monsters or anything, good game on PC, apparently its shitty on Xbox but i havnt tried on xbox, havnt played it at all on ps3

I bought this game on PC and im loving it, but thats cause im a big fan of Survival horrors so ifyou like those kindof games, then get it,though apparently the xbox version the only problem is when your driving apparently thats the only bad thing, but you only drive like a little in the entire game so you dont ned to woory bout it

this looks like a really fun game and Ive got it on PC- but I have a problem: Whenever I try to install it I get a message saying

this game is okay i wouldn't say its bad. its pretty kool that it offers a different kind of gameplay. the setting in the game is pretty kool cause everything is all torn and messed up. the driving was okay also....well kinda awkward controls but we can still drive. lol im not actually a fan of survival horror games but for some reason i like this one! haha 7.0-7.5 :D

i'm not quit sure y people gave this game a bad review its i really interesting in my opinion. the story is pretty good but really short and the graphic ya are OK but the game play is actually kinda fun beside from the driving lol that could be fixed better. but i really enjoyed play some of this game i really haven't beaten it yet i sent it back to gamefly a few days after i got it for somereason which ill probably rent it again.

The Game's Really good.
3/10 by IGN is poor.
I'd give it at least 7 maybe 8.
The Only Parts that are glitchy are the Driving Seqeunces..

well i agree with gameplay make the game not the graphics but....i mean if the graphics fkin sucks then it might affect c'mon we are in the 2008 how come the grphs sucks! i mean im not askin for ps3 graphs in a ps2 of corse but not shit graphs..:), i mean the only games tht i really dont care much of the graph are the sport ones....cause in those game the gameplay is all...in the story games action adventure or war....at least deascent....

Man I love this game's atmosphere, sometimes just for fun I shout things at the screen when I'm like holding a flaming chair or a weapon like "Come and get me, you fucker!"
It's somehow makes the game more awsome.

This trailer makes it look really bad, l like it doesnt even show you fighting monsters or anything, good game on PC, apparently its shitty on Xbox but i havnt tried on xbox, havnt played it at all on ps3

I bought this game on PC and im loving it, but thats cause im a big fan of Survival horrors so ifyou like those kindof games, then get it,though apparently the xbox version the only problem is when your driving apparently thats the only bad thing, but you only drive like a little in the entire game so you dont ned to woory bout it

Pc and xbox 360 version are the same.
There's also a ps2 and wii version and the ps2/wii version's are the same ;P
The ps3 version isn't out yet

it might look a little worse graphics on ps2 and wii, but who cares, graphics dont make the game right? like umm, crysis looks fucking amazing but the game it self isnt that great

Yeah,ur correct.
If the xbox 360 or ps3 didn't existed then nobody would care about the graphics.
When i played the ps2 version for the first time i didn't actually knew that there was a 360 version.
I enjoyed the ps2 version,but then i saw the 360 version. i bought it and i enjoyed both version's.
Gameplay makes the game,not the graphics ^^
