I hate the way most americans drive autos, it's so lazy, in the UK and Europe most poeple drive manuals, you can't call youselt a proper drive unless you know how to drive a manual, I when I drive a manual I mean properly, heel and toe downshifts, using all 3 pedals at once, proper driving!

Because it prolongs the life of your clutch, and I have a lightweight flywheel, so you lose revs very quickly , therefore during downshifts if I'm taking a bend a quick blib sends the revs high, because it revs so freely.

@spian Yeah, clearly mate. Judging by your sentence construction, use of grammar and limited brain capacity I think an Automatic is certainly a better gearbox option for you. Operating three pedals would most likely be a trifle difficult for you. In fairness I shouldn’t have really said Auto, because as I’m sure you’re aware the DCT gearbox option in the E92 M3 is not an Automatic with a torque convertor, but rather a double clutch transmission, utilising two dry clutches for even and odd gears.

I wouldnt. I would rather have it manuel with steptronic if I had a choice. I cant drive a stick, well Ive never learned so I would like to have the choice.

It will actually come with what is called M-DCT. It is a new dual-clutch transmission for the M3. Why would you rather have the paddle shift transmission over the manual?
