hey ummm i have um done the psp slim battery thing both ways. i first did it the cutting under the 19 thing...i cut all the way through and basically cut off a piece of the motherboard....and it didnt do anything...its still a normal battery.and then i did it this way...still didnt make a difference...still a normal battery...why is this happening?

of course you can cut it wrong, but on that video is clearly see which one you have to cut. When you put your hardmodded battery back into psp without memory stick, does it turn on ? if yes you did right,if not - try to use a battery charger to see if your GREEN led turns into ORANGE light

I was told that I shoudn't cut the 'leg' but the line where you see the '19' mark, after I've done that, no auto-power. i even pressed the power and it turned on like normal. The battery was fully charged before I attempted it and it was brand new too...

yeah,go on hossein28 . i've flashed each psp within ofw to cfw using these steps. YOu just have to install CFW version of your choice. I've flashed OFW to CFW with firmware 3.71 , 3.81, 3.90, .... , 5.50 ... so this works. good luck

I find that cutting this part is better for the PSP because you can use an ordinary Pencil to fill in the crak and DeModd the Battery. well to me its like that.

You can use your battery as normal at home by using this method: Take out a battery,plug in AC Adaptor to PSP,run PSP,wait till it boot on,then put that HARD MODDED battery into psp by leaving AC adaptor plugged into PSP,when you see that the green light has turned to Orange light,you can disconnect your AC Adaptor.Now you can use a battery as normal one,but after turning off the psp you will have to repeat this procedure again

ya i made a pandora battery the same way but with just a knife and i was on 4.01 ofw then i did a simular method downgraded it to 3.80 m33-5 and if you remove the pin and you can't get a new battery just get dark alex's time machine then you wont have to get a new battery and you get a 1.50 kerrnal. I have a psp slim too.

i've heard that you can restore that line at the edge of the board by drawing a line with normal pencil,...if you would try this,it will be a useful to know it, if it's working or not..

I just cut that track on the edge of the board, I think there's like a "19" written on it, or right next to it. It's a bit easier than cutting that tiny little metal thing you are. But apparently same results. I went from a 4.01 OFW to the 3.50 m33-3 CFW this way. Absolutely no issue, besides the tedious work of filling the track back in.

yes, download the all needed files to you memory stick to make it MagicMS..then use hardmod method to make your battery become a PANDORA's one. after that,put into PSP a MagicMS first,then Pandora battery...wait 2seconds,and the psp will run on. wait till all lights stops blinking,and hit "X",then wail until PSP will switch off itself...remove battery,remove mms,put back MMS into PSP, plug in AC Adaptor cable and turn on PSP...enjoy your CFW

Hey guys if your green light turns on but ur screen is pitch black it worked. your battery is now pandora. if you still want to use your pandoras battery to play games you need to take out the battery( out of ur psp), then plug the psp(using the charger), switch the psp on and then pop in the battery, then u can unplug it... but if you turn the psp off u will have to do it all over again.
