@elipper Well, right at the beginning, he says something about "our new album, Big Generator". Then, he says "here's one from our last album". So, usually, "our last album" would mean 'our latest album', but that's just how he happened to say it here, meaning 'not our new album, but our last album.' -Does that make sense yet?
Yeah but what a great toilet - was at this concert and many more in the early 70's - it's all we had - Doobie Brothers, Ozark Mountain Daredevils & Lynard Skunyrd - anyone else at that concert?
Trevor holds the note for six seconds. On 90125 he holds it for seven seconds. Six seconds is acutally about the average amount of time on every live recording, not just this one. Sometimes he makes it to seven seconds, but not on this one. Ten seconds is considered difficult. There are better examples; on the bridge of "Walls" when you hear "and I'm calling...you" the last word is held for eight seconds.
3:28 The longest I've ever heard Trevor hold that note/phrase when singing this. Bravo! That's not easy and takes a lot of vocal practicing & exercises as a vocalist. His exquisite singing is just amazing at this show.
1:20 as soon as the lights come up on Trevor & he plays his guitar solo, just listen to the audience literally roar & go wild! They won't stop cheering. Just phenomenal, & Trevor's exquisite vocals just elevate this amazing song.
One of my favorite songs & live performances by Trevor Rabin with Yes. He just has so much presence & commands the stage with his beautiful vocals, depth of emotional urgency, phrasing, & interpretation & dazzling musicianship...& this is such an impassioned song & performance.
I'm glad to see an original video from the performance, thank you veryyy(es) much! I have the LP, and it's one of my absolute favorite songs from yes. So acrobatic!
What a gem these videos are! i think its the only representation of the Big Generator Tour and better yet I was there at this actual concert! What a reproduction what a sound! This is awesome!
if this is 88 why did he say our last album was 90125!??

@mjw9363 "our last album", as opposed to THIS album. --A little awkward, but that's what he meant.

@elipper huh??..he SAID off our last album..that would of been (for a few years) Big Generator, not 90125
