McCoy was just as effective when healthy, against better teams. Tebow's played three games. You don't judge careers after 1 season. Tebow started 3 games, and had better passing stats than either of the other two, and also ran for 6 TDs

McCoy was just as effective when healthy, against better teams. Tebow's played three games. You don't judge careers after 1 season. Check back in 5 years and then maybe you can make a statement like that without coming off as ignorant.

@hackist8286 and I was right... as I said, Mccoy and Tebow were just as good when they played, and on worse teams. he played against the weakest schedule in the league and they went 7-9... He won offensive rookie of the year, yes. But last time I checked QBs are judged on what they win and he hasn't had a winning record or made the playoffs yet. And seeing as his stats were pedestrian at best, yeah he's done nothing in the NFL yet. he's had marginally more success than McCoy and Tebow, so far.

@hackist8286 the Browns and Broncos were also awful genius. Mccoy started 8 games, and his QB rating was two less than Bradford's for the season, and he did that while starting twice against the Steelers, and once against the Ravens, better defenses than any Bradford encountered last year. He also averaged more yards per attempt and had success running the ball, which Bradford did not. Tebow started 3 games, and had better passing stats than either of the other two, and also ran for 6 TDs

While mccoy got hurt the texas offense was trying too get into a rhythm with the freshmen QB so needless they ran safe plays too try too get that rhythm, so what ended up happening was texas defense had too stay out their on the field so long they got tired. @BigDGE1 The Texas defense did good. We only gave up 206 yards rushing and like 50 yards passing. and Bama scored four TD'S off of garret gilbert through interceptions and fumbles thats why the score was so high. But from a die hard Texas fan I really thought it was a good game.

I think the simple fact that he did not win the heisman twice, and was injured during his only championship game will turn out to be a stroke of luck in the NFL. We've all seen national champion, heisman winners do poorly, or become nothing special once in the pros, so something tells me luck will come his way.
