I was just a little girl when I started watching Bonanza. My own father was a drunk, abusive, cruel man - so I borrowed Ben Cartwright. He loved fiercely, was compassionate and willing to add to his family anyone who needed them. I did. So I night day&-dreamt about being one of his kids -hugs, discipline & all. I imaginatively enjoyed my brothers too! They gave me so much I never had.. `Course, Adam ain`t my brother anymore, if you know what I mean, but Ben will always be my Dad. Thank you!

I loved Bonanza when I was little and still watch it everyday on Nick :) Lorne Greene was very sexy - broad chested and shouldered, rugged - kind of reminded me of a Clark Gable type of man. I could see why Nancy Deale fell for him when she was in her 20's and he was in his 40's. Thanks for posting all the videos about Michael Landon and Lorne Greene. It is great that these talented men are being remembered and honored.

@kittiesarebest Not trying to burst anyone`s bubble but Clark Gable was about 5 feet 8 inches tall, had huge ears and suffered from bad breath. Sorry - I cannot even put him on the same page as Lorne Greene nevermind compare them! LOL!!

I am, however, also a fan of Clark Gable! Lorne, to me, is more like John Wayne!! No offense intended. Keltie

Yeah the 1800's were defently hard and I'm not so sure I'd wanted to live in the real 1800's, but the Bonanza 1800's. Mostly i'd like to have been alive during the time that all those actors that I've loved were in there prime especially Pernell and John Wayne loved him to when I was a Kid

Especially love & agree with the comments you put at the beginning & the end of this video about Lorne. He was very atractive even when I was younger watching this show Adam was my fav I aways thought Ben was very good liking. I have always felt that I was born during the wrong time frame not only were the men awesome looking it was simpler time
