  • Hey! I'm mexican and I wasn't offended by your tacos hehe. Your version of guacamole looks so yummy and I loved you didn't add any lemon. We make it at home with a little bit of milk, you should try it some time. Thanks for sharing your recipes, I've made some of them at my mom's coffee shop and everyone loves them! :D

  • hey i did the avacado the way you did it and my brother and dad loved it. i was thinking of putting lemon, but then i just skipped it. it was still very good thank you........ and they said to me im starting to become a good cook. i just couldnt take the all credit told them it was a recipe i found on youtube!! thank you once again. ive made tacos before i just never thought of combaining all that with avacado. Also im spanish ecuadoriannnnn

  • Profesional Chefs in various Culinary Schools all over America & Europe on a daily basis tell their students when they are preparing certain dishes not to forget or leave out certain ingredients.That is not Criticising. It's teaching or instructing. When I make Guacamole,

    I make enough of it to have some for the next day. If I don't use lime juice and keep it covered airtight in the fridge, it will brown or turn a dark olive drab green and doesn't look very edible or appetizing at all

  • @BearStar1 There is not one way to make tacos or guacamole so therefore i have not left out any ingredient. I make enough for one meal not a trough of it to last for days for people to indulge.

I,during my 30 years as a Federal Firefighter, have had to made enough of it at one time, which was a large bowl of it to feed a hungry shift of 20 Firefighters who like to snack on Chips & Dip while watching Football games, (not Soccer) on TV during the Holidays when Firefighters have to work while everyone else is home with their familes. Now , what do you want to argue about next?

    32 c green tomatoes,32 c. apples ,5 lbs. brown sugar,1 lb. white sugar,1 lb. currants,

    1 lb. raisins, 2 tbsp. cinnamon,1 tbsp. cloves,1 tbsp. salt,1 tsp. ginger,1 c. grd.suet,1-1/2 c. vinegar .Cut up green tomatoes & grind in grinder.Put in cold water with the salt, let come to boil,drain,Repeat 3 times. Peel&Core apples;coarse grind. Mix tomatoes & apples with other ingredients,boil 1 hr. Do not Burn. Can in jars.When making pies, use 1/2 mince meat and equal amounts of apples.

    This guy needs to go a REAL Tex -Mex Restaurant and LEARN how to Make Authentic Tex-Mex Tacos the Correct way !!! Or go to Mexico and Learn How to make Tacos Al Pastor !

    Just Meat served in a soft grilled Corn Tortilla, No Cheese or Lettuce, maybe shredded Cabbage sometimes and Queso Fresco, that crumbly Mexican White Cheese

  • @BearStar1 I am not here to make Tex Mex Tacos or make taco's the way you like them. This is how i make taco's. I did use cheddar cheese, onion, avocado, tomato, chili & seasoning. This has lots of flavour. If you aren't interested in trying something new that's your loss :)

  • @SimpleCookingChannel ; The way or method that I make them and like them is the Standard method of making them here in Texas and the way & method that most Tex-Mex Restaurants also make them.

  • If one buys 80/20 ground beef or chuck one does not need to have all that water in the pan with the meat as the 20 % fat content will keep the meat moist plus if one adds a diced up sweet onion and a small can of diced green chilis that will more than enough give the proper moisture required to cook the taco meat filling. Just be sure to drain off the excess fat. But if one adds water , all that will do is make a very bland flavorless taco meat filling!

  • @BearStar1 I use water because i like to drain the fat. I don;t like eating fat in meat. It's very unhealthy :) This is not a bland taco meat filling. It's bursting with flavour :)

After the ground beef, onions, and green chilis are throughly cooked, one drains the meat mixture through a colander, then return the mixture back to the skillet and add one can of drained diced Rotel. ( tomatoes & green chilis ).

  • @SimpleCookingChannel; The reason for the lime juice, besides flavor, is to keep the Avocado or Guacamole from turning brown. At least that's the reasons the Tex-Mex Chefs & Cooks use it. I'm not criticizing your method or your personal tastes , I'm just informing as to the way it is done here in Texas , Mexico and most of the southwestern States of the US.

  • @warmbeer05 Mine never break. I buy jumbo one's though & i heat them up for about 10 minutes on a lower setting. Maybe that's why mine don't break.
