Uhm , very limited game , no open world just instanced zones , didn't like it because :

- gender lock

- repetitive quests ( you may play the same dungeon 10-20 times b4 getting the required quest item )

-it's fun to play the first 2-3 days then you will see it's flaws and lagg issues do to players with low connectivity .

overall 5/10

The only places you can really find bad connection is in the beginning, where a bunch of noobs host games, not yet knowing aobut the lag it causes when thier internet is crappy. The gender lock isn't a problem either, there are two girls and two guys.(soon to be three) Most mmorpgs have classes locked to a gender. if you don't like the game, gtfo it's vids dumbass

@notlengthy Whatever floats your boat man, but personaly I find this game totally different and way better than hundreds of all those dumbass MMORPGs in which all you do in fight is click on the enemy and wait for your char to lazily kill him or get killed, and occasionaly use some kind of skill. Dynamic and spectacular fights in Vindictus is what I was always looking for in MMOs and I would SO play it if it only was available in Europe.

@ThinBear4 WoW require a shit ton more skill than this game, I can guarantee you that. In arena, you have to know your opposing team as well as you know your own. You have to be versatile, control two players at the same time, setup kills, and outplay the opposition through strategy and clever use of game mechanics. And I don't even want to get into rated battlegrounds. And if I wanted to play a game without a targeting system, I'd pick CotN any day, because it takes actual skill.

I agree that fiona is UP in pvp, I play fiona and there isnt much i can do against an evie or spear lann. Evie just hits and run with her retarded mana shields. Spear lann spins and wins. The best i've done is Trap them in a corner with my Sprint smash+ Heavy stander canceling spam. Still, not enough sometimes

Man this shit is dumb. Vindictus shouldn't have even attempted a pvp mode. You can't block anything after all. As soon as you see an enemy, run up to him and start swing may the first one to swing win. They should have at least put in a way to block, just for pvp.

yeah, PVP in this game is terrible, I mean the winner is the one who's actually the most skilled rather than just the guy with the better gear, that's just messed up.

On a more serious note only low level players spam, it's the mid level and higher players who dodge their attacks and follow up with a counter attack. Sounds simple right? Well just try it, it's free for crying out loud!

want an unfair advantage based on lvls. They are currently introducing

a 1v1 pvp part of the game in the Korea version. As for the US version they are

Maybe some one can answer this has the game but is any like depth to combat? or is it just swing swing untill enemy dies? like can you block counter enemy? can you punish some one for dodging by hitting mid dodge? or is it pretty much dice rolls in back ground.

@Lokai99 if there's anything i can say about the combat in this game, i'd say it's like playing soul calibur; except that you could change the direction of your attack mid string. all moves have their own recovery times and frame hit rate. this means dodge rolls/hops/dashes have recovery frames you could punish when you are able. Fiona has shield she could use to block, bash, and counter attack. lann, depending on the weapon he uses, can have 0.3sec invulnerability dash frames but can't block.
