@efamite1 yes and no. you can no longer tame them. those who have worgen pets i think will have the normal worg skin and will not have abilities or even have the ability to feed them. to keep them happy you need the glyph of mend pet. Blizzard says they are now considered "trophy" pets. Blizzard apparently dosen't like the fact that hunters can tame worgen (probably because of the ability to play them in cataclysm). i got this all out of WoW wiki.

nice try, but if you look FURTHER into the lore, arugal summoned worgen first, and they when beserk, so he went to shadowfang keep to protect them, later a the night elf asks elune for help in the desperate times, and recieves a staff that is able to summon worgen. she started using it ab\nd over time noticed she couldn't bring them back and some of them were missing, she was seen traveling in darkwood or whatever that place is called, and was never seen again, soon worgen were all over there

It wasnt a patch, it was a hotfix they did on the 7th, so if your on a private server thats scripted you might be able to get it
