Man, I was going to say Joe Biden for president but then I reminded myself that he is going to be vice president of Barack Obama, wich is even more better. But Joe Biden is totally awesome. I really had the right words and thoughts on todays america. George W Bush has already been given America a bad rumour, wich will be even worse and even lost, if John McCain wins the election. So for americas and even the worlds sake americans, please vote for Barack Obama and NOT John McCain.

If anyone from the campaign reads these posts, listen up! The democrats need to quit being nice. We need to TEAR the republicans APART!!! You have an infinite supply of ammo against McCain. USE IT! NATCA for OBAMA!!!!
Finally we can at least 4 years of good government and more! the days of corporate fear monsters and the WW2 people have been lied too and hustled. the youth will each year bring this country until eco-living and free from fat demons like Mcstain mouth! OBAMA 08!
From Spain (Europe): Biden is a great orator and the background coulnn´t be better: a huge old column who reminds us of the old foundations of democracy and solid values. However as most politicians over the world the man twists truths. e.g. His friend McCaine just turned to the extreme right wing so he´s the enemy now, and has 15 homes. Before this occasion arose those homes seemed not to bother Biden´s morals. Etc. Politicians! Watch out and don´t be fooled by any of them.
Probably the best pick Obama could have made. The republicans would have lambasted Obama for picking Hillary. And Biden has more years of experience in the Senate than Sen. Obama and Sen. Clinton combined. He even trumps John McCain by over a decade. If Hillary supporters honor what she stood for, change and experience, they should support this ticket. The alternative is a most odious choice that will further damage and divide the country.
to all the clinton supporters who don't want to vote for O8AMA, u r not a real Clinton lover if u wont vote for O8ama becuz Clinton is voting for O8AMA.
Well im canadian however if i was able to vote for who should be president of the usa i would vote Obama ! I hope he wins best of luck - PS i hate bush!!!
Man, this was a pretty amazing speech. I'm sure the Repubs will jump on every chance to dissect every word Biden has ever spoken but overall, I don't think he could have picked a more honest, experienced, nuanced, and rock solid running mate. I'm pumped!
i dont have a vote because im british, but it will be a huge shame for the world if the republicans win again. I shook my head in disbelief when 62 million voted for bush and cheney in 04 and this cant happen again with the Bush clone McCain and whoever he trots out as VP candidate!! The UK says Obama and Biden 08!
Bloody good choice. Straight up guy with strong principles. The Obama ticket now looks all the stronger. This guy will help America rebuild its credbility around the world. Can't wait. From New Zealand.

Biden is the perfect VP choice for Obama. I really like him because he really understands what is going on with the economy and what America needs to do with foreign policy.
My true dream ticket... seriously. I am soooo happy. Of course, now the battle is on and I expect dirty, hateful tricks from the republicans. The road to the White House won't be easy. Goooo Obama!!!
I was in the front row for this event, and i have to say it was amazing, i saw Obama in Des Plaines IL, back in 2005 or 2007 and i knew then he would become president. I believe that he is the change we need, and that Biden is a great choice for Obama. Obama Biden in 2008.

From across the pond, well done Obama! The UK has huge respect for Joe Biden. You have made a great choice. Biden can restore America's lost reputation and repair the terrible damage done by the neo-cons crooks of BushCo. Way to go, Joe !!!
Brilliant speech , twas one from the heart,it's high time the majority ruled once again, Good luck America, for what its worth from down under, Obama & Biden is your only choice
The only reason why McCain had gain popularity is because, during the period when Obama is in Europe, all he had done was shoving ads attacking Obama into the American citizens' throat -- clearly a dirty mudslinging strategy to win supporters; where is the promise to a fair race?

He will run for President after Obama's 8 years and will win against Clinton. The Next 4 yrs will be a constant increase in finance and peace. Biden will win when he runs. He will go down as the best VP in US HISTORY... WATCH AND SEE!
Nice censorship. Surprisingly, there is not much criticism posted yet. This is my attempt no. 4 of trying to post. I'm sure his eunichs aren't allowed to permit this. Oh well. McCain baby!!!!
Seriously, when has John McCain ever put forth his policies to make the country "better"? HE HASN'T! There is nothing McCain can say policy-wise that can contend with Barack and his. Hence the reason why he's trying to talk about other stuff that doesn't even apply to the election, it's like the Republican party is trying to treat this as if it's a popularity contest.
I am an independant (i.e: I don't go for the whole party affiliation deal) and this will be my first time to vote, I'll be honest I don't fall into Obama's great speech no plan policy, but with Biden as a mentor I am strongly considering Obama/Biden...
I was on the fence between McCain and Obama. Picking Biden nailed it for me. Joe Biden is everything the wealthy elite hate...he wasn't yanked out of a golden crotch with a silverspoon in his mouth.
I love the way he quotes President Lincoln who happens to be President Bush's favorite. Oh, and I have to point out that he (Biden) is only 7 years younger than McCain.
NoW Let us all work together so that on January 20, 2009, Barack Obama will be sworn in as president and Joe Biden will be sworn in as vice-president! Can we do it??
Biden isnt a bad guy but in the end he is not the president, its the empty suit and why should i elect someone who needs a baby sitter and changes his core values depending on the audience. Hilary/Biden, now thats a powerhouse. Unless McCain picks a complete fool he is looking better and better.
I think an extremely large problem in the US is a complete lack of financial literacy and discipline. I as well as millions of students across america was barely taught how to write a check much less acquire assets and make one dollar two and two dollars four. We control our own destinies. I started with a vending machine at age 18 and now three years later I am on my way to a net worth of 100,000. America is still a land of opportunity, please hold faith in yourselves, not a president.
There could not be a better duo to lead our country out of the dull drums and back into the light. This is the real DREAM TICKET. I'm so happy and so inspired by Barack and Joe, let's make it happen! Let's get out the vote and take America back!
Obama's campaign released compilation of positive reaction from Republican senators
Senator Chuck Hagel of Nebraska said in a statement:"Joe Biden is the right partner for Barack Obama. His many years of distinguished service to America, his seasoned judgment and his vast experience in foreign policy national security will match up well with the unique challenges of the 21st Century. An Obama-Biden ticket is a very impressive and strong team. Biden's selection is good news for Obama and America"
Senator Richard Lugar of Indiana said in a statement: "I congratulate Senator Barack Obama on his selection of my friend, Senator Joe Biden, to be his vice-presidential running mate. I have enjoyed for many years the opportunity to work with Joe Biden to bring strong bipartisan support to United States foreign policy."
Senator Arlen Specter of Pennsylvania. "No one on the Democratic side knows more about foreign policy than Sen. Biden. He's been an articulate spokesman on the subject. He also knows about domestic policy. He's been a leader on crime control."
Obama picked the strongest voice imaginable on national security. Nobody will be able to mask their prejudice anymore by cowardly hiding behind "inexperience." Democrats who plan on not voting for such a strong Democratic Party ticket will now have to admit the real reasons. The only thing worse than a Bush Republican is a Democrat planning on betraying the issues HRC cares about by not getting behind the team. "inexperience" has been eliminated as an excuse for not voting for this ticket.
all that yammering about change and lookie who the "race card candidate" picks, roflmao good luck with your plagiaristic buddy guess thats what you two clowns do have in common (google the "just words speach) mccain 08 baby
biden raked in some votes from the rural areas and obama got the ones for the cities. now obama has about double the amount he did before obama biden08
Republicans are now blasting Obama for NOT picking Ms Clinton. Funny when you think its coming from the same people who did whatever they could to kick the Clintons out of the W.H.Please hilary supporters, do not fall for this.

Joe Biden is calling a world wide conference to let everyone know his beer cooler is dangerously low.

I was at first very unsure of Obama's VP Pick being Joe Biden, however, after seeing this video, I have little or no remaining doubt.

I have enjoyed for many years the opportunity to work with Joe Biden to bring strong bipartisan support to United States foreign policy."
richardcranium01 3 years ago

Republicans are now blasting Obama for NOT picking Ms Clinton. Funny when you think its coming from the same people who did whatever they could to kick the Clintons out of the W.H.Please hilary supporters, do not fall for this.
