(sorry for my English) Help me! When I rotate Z only "tip_toe" -> toe slice floor good, but "tarsal" twisting to left side and right side little/ Whats wrong? In tutorial im not see this
How do you get what looks like control shapes or outlines on your model. The arrows, circles & what looks like snow shoe outlines that you use to access your control bones? I've got my rig working but not as elegant as yours when it comes to controlling it.
Wow. I just paid attention to the first five tutorials in one sitting. Great pace, great organization, the tone of your voice and the confidence you have in your skills REALLY lend themselves to learning very difficult techniques quickly. Thank you and I look forward to the rest of your tutorials and any others you ever may choose to develop. Great job and thanks again!
Your tutorials are very usefull, understandable and you dont take too much time explaining one thing as others do .I must say I realy liked your tutorials and appreciate it as it helps me with me with the animations.thanks
is it possible that one ipo driver drives many functions? lets say that his movement in X axis drives ball roll, but his movement in Y axis drives toe roll and his movement in Z axis drives IK/FK switch? it will be very nice if there is possible to make a rig with only two controls that are one in another - lets say the subdivided once cube in wireframe will be the main foot control to drive the whole leg and parented to him centered inside him cube with copy LocRot tho is the driver-continued_-
@golemkonty Yeah I think it's possible and an interesting idea too. But sometimes it's good to keep controls separate. I think it's a balance. Give it a go and see how you like it : )
@tobuslieven yeah! i think that it will be a little bit confusing in the beginning!these days when i have more time i will try....i hope that this works .....thanks for the reply...
@tobuslieven I realize I'm responding to an old post and you've probably thought this through already, but it seems to me that it's a good idea to: create a bunch of unique controls, and then put constraints on those controls attached to "meta controls" that control many controls, and then you can adjust influence on the constraints to switch between the "mini controls" and the "meta control". One gets the best of both worlds that way (and a tiny bit of extra setup that could save hours). ^.^
