soz for the late reply... :D... A tablet is like a board on which u draw with a special pen.... It is like a mouse, the board represents ur screen and as u move the pen, the mouse moves with it. So its like a pen type mouse which makes it easier to draw compared to drawing with a mouse which is like drawing with a bar of soap lolz :D

nah! the one I use is quite cheap lolz....compared to others that is...it cost me bout 50-60 pounds which in dollars is like 80-100 :D

it goes without sayin that you should always go for wacom. But when u start size is not really the problem, its the quality and your budgett that matters.

yah thanx i got my tablet! i did get a wacom one. but i checked the new prices, and this is it:

i have been trying to make the lines go as straight as yours but u fail, what are you doing to keep the lines so straight =O ?

practice makes perfect I guess first make realy sketchy lines and then press real hard and do them final, do them over and over again until u get it right :D

Question... How do you make the first layer more transparent, before starting the darkened lines?

its quite simple actually(this works for photoshop as well as most other software :D) There is like a box with all the layers in it, u just select ur layer, and on the top there will be a transparency sliding bar just increase or decrease that that should do :D

well I used art rage 2, in that its like the default one, but in photoshop, i normally use the normal one with other dynamics :D hope this helps :D
