@howarth004 Not being a fisher I can't really say but I would have thought so - fish worth fishing for. The Deveron has Brown Trout, Sea Trout and Salmon. It rises in the Ladder Hills (part of the Grampians). At Huntly it's joined by the River Bogie and further downstream by the River Isla which has come through real whisky country!! The Deveron flows into the sea atween the twin fishing ports of Banff and Macduff.

@howarth004 i fish there all the time , lots of nice brown trout , Some Very big salmon , record is 61lbs and i got videos of fishing it on my channel :) thansk
