Positive changes can only occur when brave individuals such as Parvin refuse to accept injustice, and are prepared to do whatever it takes to get things done.But it's a pity the western press doesn't do more to educate our populous in these matters and show that there is resistance to islam and that we don't have to take cultural and religious sensitivity to the point where they conflict with our needs and beliefs. Thanks for sending this to me, and I can find no recent info on this woman's status. Her prison sentence was suspended, but for three years she has to *behave* or the suspension will be set aside, and she'll find herself in prison. I know these activist women know the danger of speaking out in these male dominated pigsties, and I find their boldness & sacrifice amazing. What role models for all suffering women!!
