If anakin was never born C3PO was never made....Qui Gon Jin and obi wan couln't repair the ship(couldn't buy new motor)..And if they could he couldn't go to space and destroy the droid control base and gungans wont win the fight against the droids. And he couldn't beat Count Dooku... And this goes on. SO Anakin is the character the story is built on Episode l to Episode Vl
