I wish that Double was a more "fleshed out" character. IT was really just "Oh HI", he appeared on the side of the stage select, then "Oh Hi, I'm really a bad guy! FIGHT!~". If they had some dialogue segment of X getting to talk with him more, or Double running to X after the first Colonel fight and (clumsily) attempting to help? Beautiful, he seems a more realistic 'ally'. Oh, well..

Here's an interesting little tid-bit: in standard Mega Man X fashion, Double actually has a special weapon "effect" if you use the Double Cyclone on him. Now, you'd think, "Hey, Double Cyclone -- makes perfect sense that it would work." But, God, is it far from the truth. Using it on Double actually causes him to release a group of "hidden" assist weapons that fly around the screen and make your life miserable. Mega Buster, for the win. lol
