An extremely violent, senseless, illogical and as he at one time described, an amusingly incompetent system. They are bought and paid for by the CIA. The CIA declared it spends $300 million a year on Pakistani ISI as reported by Al-Jazeera. A top to bottom corrupt system of governance for an increasingly disillusioned and angry nation. Give it a few more years and a guillotine and history will repeat itself spectacularly.
THis man was hardly Tortured compared to wut goes on went on in Guantanomo Bay, HE Elaborated his feeling the WHole way through this, He was just Simply Asked questions. IF you ever watch wut goes on in Gauntanomo bay He would have been able to loose his elaborated Communication Skill which he potrayed the whole Story.
@bigzgvr4 I agree. However the videos are not about him or the torture that may or may not have been inflicted on him. They're about the process, the system deployed to supposedly track terrorists.
The horror of this story has a huge impact, but I also wonder what reasons the Pakistani authorities have for such interrogations. It seems so irrational or desperate. Are they under such pressure to find terrorists that they just hope someone will 'confess'?
It must have taken a lot of courage to make these videos. They brought closer to me the reality of life in a torture cell and the consequences paranoia can have in a way the written word cannot.
Thank God this episode ended without loss of life for you and the film crew.
Thank you for sharing. It's difficult for people who have never been in anything even close to such circumstances to understand the terror in the details. Hopefully your very personal account can serve to bring it a little closer to home for more people.
It's often been observed that after 9/11 (7/7) the world didn't change, we just became a part of the world. That's also probably the difference between adventuring and Reality.

reason? lol they dont need one. They're under immense pressure from their masters , the U.S.A.
They just cant seem to get anything done because there are people inside their own agencies who actually support Taliban.
