  • fuckin loved watching this show when I was like 4 years old <3

  • This, Roseanne, My So Called Life.. *sigh* When tv was about real people.

  • @strangepowder I've got bad news for you: television has never been about real people... :.(

  • Hey! Before Dan was a dry-waller he was a police officer :D

  • Brett Butler is so sexy, I would totally drop a load in that toilet!

  • you do something like that with a police offcer and you're in trouble.

  • God you pull a stunt like that with the officer and they take you into the hospital deeming you unfit.

  • God you pull a stunt like that with the officer and they take you into the hospital deeming you unfit.. God things were simpler back then and I was a kid.

  • God you pull a stunt like that with the officer and they take you into the hospital and you're deemed a bad mom. God things were simpler back then and I was a kid.

  • The 2nd Quentin--not this one and not the last one-- was taken off the show by his parents because they thought Brett Butler's language and off-color humor wasn't appropriate in front of their child. If you put your kid in show business you should KNOW that there will be raunchy talk on ANY set. His parents were very uptight and naive.

  • Did you know that the original Quentin was taken off the show after Brett Butler tried to seduce him? That's what I hear.

  • Grace:Whats the rule about throwing things in the car while mama's driving

    Quintin and Libby:Dont

    Grace:And whats the punishment

    Quintin and Libby:Dad

  • i loved grace under fire! but i do not remember the pilot quinton is played by a different actor is this an unaired pilot?

  • this was a great show

  • if this is the pilot, why is the later season's theme song plastered over the original theme "Lady Madonna" sung by Aretha Franklin? I remember seeing this episode on Channel 7 in Australia in 1994 & Lady Madonna was definitely the theme. It may have lasted five seasons, but in Australia it flopped in the ratings big time (fifth in its timeslot, Aust has five networks) so much it was cancelled after two episodes & the remaining eps aired a few years later in afternoon timeslots and on Foxtel.

  • ppl should know better than to take drugs of any kind. i dont feel sorry for them.. my parents dont touch them, and i didnt.. book closed, whats the problem?

  • @annie2181 The problem is that some people have legitimate medical problems that prescription drugs are the only way for them to function without being in severe pain. Also it is very easy to become addicted to some medications even if you're only taking them for a short time. You obviously have never experienced real pain or you would feel sympathy for those who must live with it constantly

  • gosh i remember when i was a kid i wish she was my mom

  • Yeah she was good an the show was funny too bad she was a pain pill addict and ruined her whole career that's why they canceled the show she flashed the little boy who played her 12 year old son on the show she's a looser typical white trash lady lol but funny none the less I just seen her on my name is Earl she if fat and old I remembered her like her she used to have her own show and looked for it and remembered grace under fire stay off drugs kids!

  • @casm49er4life I think you mean loser not looser :)

  • @casm49er4life A pain pill addict? I blame Russell the pharmacist!

  • The cop was in Roseanne.

  • dan!!!! hotness.

  • thank u

  • Man i wish they would bring this show back on........Ugh the good shows are leaving us..............

  • rofl, Grace said ``throbbing mattress kitten''

she was so awesome; a smart-mouth, sharp as a tack and seriously funny as all get out! damn, i miss her.

  • Have always loved this show! I had forgotten about it until recently. Thanks for the memories! :)

  • Did you record this in Tampa, Florida? Our UPN affiliate was on channel 44 (before UPN was taken over by CW), and the watermark in this video also indicates that your UPN affiliate was on channel 44. It should be noted that, "Grace Under Fire" was an ABC TV show, so it must have been in syndication by the time you recorded the pilot.

  • @jimtope i remember our Amarillo, TX CBS affiliate KFDA airing this show when it was in syndication, there wasn't that much Fox affiliates that aired the show

  • i learned so many bad things from this show i was my fav show at 7 years old

  • she is so sarcastic...I love that...once my boyfriend told me if he had known I was so sarcastic he never would have dated me! I love the way she is so down to earth yet still tries to listen to opera and stuff...shes cool.

  • That is a great way to get out of ticket

  • cant believe dylan andcole are 18 now.

  • taped off WTOG in St. Petersburg/Tampa, FL

  • She has a Man voice

  • love John Goodman lol

  • LOVED this show! One of the funniest sitcoms ever, thanks in large part to Brett Butler's brilliant comic delivery.

  • hey the police officier is John Goodman!

  • You can see it's him just by looking.
