  • This is wonderful!! :)

  • Ah, lassies, it did me heart good to hear this. it recalls the bogs and the horse races upon deridy doo. the heather growing like silk, the cowbells sounding past the chapel on fair mountain mcvaney, I will tip my shaleleigh and my tam as we pass along the green shamrock road.

  • @stephenswodadancer I cant figure out how too!!! D:

  • I could repeat all my forerunners but I try to find words that were not used yet... :)

    Heart touching performance!

I'm totally happy about you sharing this with us!

  • OH MY GOD that was breathtaking! Gave me chills throughout. My friends a Capella group did this (Paws and Listen at University of KY) and they were great as well. I absolutely loved your version, I'd love to see it in a real performance.

  • Wonderful job! Just one thing though, it may have been the microphone on the camera, but the Alto 2 could not be heard until the second verse started. Other than that, amazing job

  • Amazing. I sang that in middle school it was'nt half as good as you girls. I loved it. The balance, the harmony it was beautiful

  • Beautiful, simply beautiful - I got teary-eyed listening :-)

  • this was absolutely beautiful

I hope my a capella group will be able to pull it off as nicely you girls

  • the ladies group at my school did this same song and you both sound stunning. This is such a beautiful song, especially a cappella.

  • It gave me goose bumps and brought tears to my eyes. From one Musician to another, you guys are great. I love you balance you guys have.

  • One of the best I have heard on the web... Outstanding!

(except what is the background person doing? Very distracting. Do it again without the "voice" and with close ups.

  • Thank you! The "voice" was our director, as this was a rehearsal session. I hope to get a video of an actual performance in the future.

  • Wow... How is that I'm a musician, living in Columbia, MO for 25 years, yet I've never heard of the Velvetones? You all are fantastic. I would love to see you perform sometime... Please, put me on your mailing list (if you have one!)

  • anytime:)where are you guys from??

  • Columbia, Missouri :-)

  • wow. speechless...except to say, that this was beautiful!
