there was no Jerusalem in those days, and Yosef did not tell Benyamin who he was. He did whoever tell his brothers later who he was but noway did he tell Benyamin first why would he do that? And the father of Yosef was not blind he did however walk with a limp

he WAS indeed blind for when yusuf's (as) brothers came back with his shirt, his father rubbed it on his face and gained his eyesight back.

okay i did some research and if u look in the Quran, surah 12 (yusuf) ayat 93, yusuf (as) says: "go with this shirt of mine, cast it over the face of my father, he will become clear-sighted, and bring me all your family".

then in ayat 96 Allah says, "then, when the bearer of the glad tidings arrived, he cast the shirt over his face, and he became clear sighted....."

Prophet Yaqub/Jacob had lost his eye-sight over the years crying for his lost son, "Yusuf" but he regained it when the older sons brought Prophet Yusuf's shirt to him.
