Personally am an atheist. Still love this song anyway. I like that the lyrics are deliberately vague so it's easy to apply to anybody - a lover or God. :)
@gavelion@gavelion Chris is a Christian singer. You can go check his website. He personally cited that he wrote this song for God and not a woman. Chris did wrote several love songs such as Little Lovin left to do, Stranger, and etc. I do agree, however, that people should know that Christian singers will not always write songs about God. They are human and need a little something else in their life.
who do you think hes talking about through all these heartfelt lyrics? Hes an amazing Christian singer and i like alot of his other songs< especially 7 times 70 times:)
@Sparksfly037 It is? There isn't a mention anywhere in this song (or the other songs of his that I've listened to) about our LORD Jesus Christ. Not one word. This singer isn't a 'Christian' singer. The guy is a goofball (going off his mashup video) who needs to wake up and start worshiping our LORD.
@thevaliantcrusader it is talking about our Lord Jesus Christ. It is when it refers to You with a Capital: like this: 'm sorry for the things I've done
@thevaliantcrusader he might not say it but h knows to whom he sings, we can put any beautiful name to our Lord cause it's Our connection to him, not anyone elses. I say God and Christ, but one of my friends refer to him as Dad.
Hehe, I've never been first commenter. (x so lame. But I just discoverd this man, & I think he's a great singer. His lyrics actually have some meaning, but they're not so depressingly deep. Lol, make sense? But they're nice & sweet. So yeee. (: good video aimansakhnini. (:

I'm so glad he's using his talent to sing about God :) <3
It really breaks my heart to see that today some really popular songs are about such bad things.
Keep up the good work, Chris :) This song is amazing.

Oh my goodness guys he's not a Christian singer. He's Christian, but he sings normal songs about meeting the right person. Stop being so closeminded.

I think we've all been at that point where we turn away from Him. I love this song because it's something we can all relate to!

When You ran to me I turned to run
But You were waiting when I came undone
And needed me someone to hold onto
see what I mean? :)
