When you say "I already know", you become just another arrogant Christian. How about a simpler statement of faith: "I trust God because..."

@RandomShortsMedia history repeats itself. Public demand will dispose of modern junk and bring new bands like Zep, The equipment and guitars are there. Just has to be enough people to do it ,and a few visionaries. The record labels will bow to this, all they care about is whatever is popular. I don't listen to anything except classic rock and related such as prog, British invasion etc.
God gives gifts to people and music was their gift. Sadly, they took this gift that God gave them and used it to benefit themselves and not to glorify the Creator who gave it to them...
@disciplesofthecross .....Go and listen to LedZep's In The Light. Read the lyrics and get a understanding of whose perspective Plant is singing about. And in the name of our Lord, stop embarrassing you, me and Him by passing reckless judgement on people and things that you do not fully understand. Peace be with you.
@Listen2InTheLight I listened to Zeppelin music all through the 70's and 80's and if you think their music glorifies Jesus Christ, you are simply delusional. No one in that band confesses to follow Jesus Christ...they never did.
@disciplesofthecross ..... I appreciate your reply. When someone is delusional, they are usually the last to recognize it. So if I am or am not, I cannot truly say. .....But I am "with it" enough to see that you have contradicted yourself within these two posts.
Music was their gift, as you stated. Preaching is yours. When you can write as song as beautiful as these lads, I will stand corrected. Peace.
@Listen2InTheLight Writing beautiful songs doesn't make you a follower of Jesus Christ. God gives people gifts, and many people misuse their gifts for their own pleasure and profit, as in this case. Led Zeppelin doesn't sing for Jesus Christ, they never have.
@disciplesofthecross Whether they believe in a Creator or not is their personal choice. Not right or wrong, just a different perspective. If God didn't intend for varying perspectives we wouldn't have them.
@xXPinkGoddessXx According to the Creator there's a right and a wrong, and you don't get to heaven without faith in Christ's sacrifice and resurrection....
@disciplesofthecross And you're making the assumption that your relationship with God is superior to everyone else's, hence, you fail to respect other people's beliefs. That's not very Christian, is it?
@xXPinkGoddessXx I said nothing of being superior, you did, but a belief in anyone but Christ, is a belief that is leading you down the wrong path and will eventually take you somewhere you don't wish to be...
@disciplesofthecross No, you implied your own superiority by assuming that your beliefs are "right" and those which differ are "wrong". Christianity is nothing more than an interpretation of God, as is Islam, Buddhism, and Judaism. There are no 'right' or 'wrong' religions, nor are there right or wrong spiritual beliefs. If Christianity works for you that is fine, but you can only speak for yourself.
@xXPinkGoddessXx Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life, no man comes to the Father except by me." So yes, any other belief is wrong and leads to eternal damnation. Harsh statement but true nonetheless. If you want someone to tickle your ears and tell you what you want to hear, I'm not the guy.
@xXPinkGoddessXx You don't have to explain anything to me. I already know and walk in the truth. You are the one who has obviously strayed from the path of righteousness, Not I.
Hello, your wrong the coming of Jesus was for told by old testament prophesy. Islam was 700 hundred years after Christ. Mohammad said that the sun risen and set in a muddy puddle and Alexander the great went to see it . thats in the Koran. Do you believe that is right? The proof of the Bible is in museums around the world. And Israel still being here. What nation has ever came back from disappearing then become a nation?
A sad fact of life today that hip-hop/rap takes precedence over this classic British rock and if you made a cover like this nowadays, they'd take the band to court over paedophilia accusations!
@wandererlain There's something that really must be said. Every single generation has their time. Young people are going to, in most cases, listen to the people of their time. Honestly, listening to a group live is an experience compared to listening to it on vinyl or cd or on a compputer.
@Thetrippyfrog1 well said!! Right now we're all stuck with this crappy 'season' of cookie cutter ring tone music, thoughtless songs all made using the exact same formula.. Personally, just seeing an 'artist' play there own instruments amazes me these days, as sad as that sounds.. The real catalyst is hip hop / rap, slowly destroying the passion of music.. Be a cold day in hell when I swap my vintage Zeppelin T's for a hoodie and chains...
hey music is music, whatever floats ur boat, just because you like a certain kind of music it doesnt mean that rap and hiphop cant be music as well, its just as much an outlet for other people as the zep is for u. I can proudly say i like Pink floyd and the zep as much as i like lil wayne and jay z.
@colourglue Well said, youself, brother! And notice I don't call you "bro" like this whole damn hip-hop/rap culture which has unfortunately filtered down into London life. I call you "brother" in the sense of A Clockwork Orange LOL

No one in that band confesses to follow Jesus Christ...they never did.
disciplesofthecross 1 year ago

@xXPinkGoddessXx According to the Creator there's a right and a wrong, and you don't get to heaven without faith in Christ's sacrifice and resurrection....
disciplesofthecross 1 year ago
@disciplesofthecross Nope, that's according to Christianity.
xXPinkGoddessXx 1 year ago
@xXPinkGoddessXx Nope, that's according to Jesus Christ = God.
disciplesofthecross 1 year ago
@disciplesofthecross Ohh right, so your beliefs are superior to that of everyone else's. All I needed to know.
xXPinkGoddessXx 1 year ago
@xXPinkGoddessXx Jesus Christ makes the rules, not you.
disciplesofthecross 1 year ago
@disciplesofthecross How do you know that?
xXPinkGoddessXx 1 year ago
@xXPinkGoddessXx I know God personally...
disciplesofthecross 1 year ago
@disciplesofthecross And you're making the assumption that your relationship with God is superior to everyone else's, hence, you fail to respect other people's beliefs. That's not very Christian, is it?
xXPinkGoddessXx 1 year ago
@xXPinkGoddessXx I said nothing of being superior, you did, but a belief in anyone but Christ, is a belief that is leading you down the wrong path and will eventually take you somewhere you don't wish to be...
disciplesofthecross 1 year ago
@disciplesofthecross No, you implied your own superiority by assuming that your beliefs are "right" and those which differ are "wrong". Christianity is nothing more than an interpretation of God, as is Islam, Buddhism, and Judaism. There are no 'right' or 'wrong' religions, nor are there right or wrong spiritual beliefs. If Christianity works for you that is fine, but you can only speak for yourself.
xXPinkGoddessXx 1 year ago
@xXPinkGoddessXx Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life, no man comes to the Father except by me." So yes, any other belief is wrong and leads to eternal damnation. Harsh statement but true nonetheless. If you want someone to tickle your ears and tell you what you want to hear, I'm not the guy.
disciplesofthecross 1 year ago
@disciplesofthecross If I have to explain what is questionable about that then ultimately explaining anything to you is futile.
xXPinkGoddessXx 1 year ago
@xXPinkGoddessXx You don't have to explain anything to me. I already know and walk in the truth. You are the one who has obviously strayed from the path of righteousness, Not I.

Hello, your wrong the coming of Jesus was for told by old testament prophesy. Islam was 700 hundred years after Christ. Mohammad said that the sun risen and set in a muddy puddle and Alexander the great went to see it . thats in the Koran. Do you believe that is right? The proof of the Bible is in museums around the world. And Israel still being here. What nation has ever came back from disappearing then become a nation?

A sad fact of life today that hip-hop/rap takes precedence over this classic British rock and if you made a cover like this nowadays, they'd take the band to court over paedophilia accusations!
wandererlain 1 year ago
@wandererlain Don't generalize Hip Hop because you'd have to do the very same to rock n roll, my friend.

@Khultan Well, they have their thing and have mine. I make peace.

@wandererlain There's something that really must be said. Every single generation has their time. Young people are going to, in most cases, listen to the people of their time. Honestly, listening to a group live is an experience compared to listening to it on vinyl or cd or on a compputer.

Oh yes, and I love this all-British classic rock! This my cup of tea, matees!
