Most Americans say Hyundai as either "Hun-die" or "Hun-dae" as people usually leave the 'y' out for speed. That other guy said "He-yoon-dae" and Clarkson said in another episode "Ha-yeon-dae". Clarkson is the last person who should be correcting people.

현대 is the company name and "Hyundai" is read "Hyeon-dae" or "Hyun-dae". We don't expect you to speak Korean but we would expect you to be humble when you have no idea lol

Most Brits don't pronounce the R in Ford and the Southern accent is a lot closer to the British accent in comparison to other accents in the USA for example in Delaware a lot of people pronounce the A in WATER very short to the point where it's almost WTER and Brits don't pronounce schedule right.
